my baby is 14 months old but she loves adventure and adrenaline I never thought there were skateboards for girls of her age. when I look at it on radio flyer I could not believe it, without thinking i order it immediately. It was an unforgettable experience, we put it together like the other radio flyer products and every time we go out to play with the skateboard it's amazing to look at happiness and joy of my daughter. thank you radio flyer please never stop inventing and thinking about our children ...... now I have unforgettable memories with my daughter thank you to RADIO FLYER!!!!!
I bought this for my grandsons' 1st birthday. They are twins and I also purchased the rocket.
I bought this for a 1 year olds birthday party and he loved it form the moment it was opened. He's already begun using it. I also purchased the helmet. Despite it being 2+ he demands wearing it. The bike is sturdily made and will definitely last as he gets older to be used as the scooter.
Bought this as a gift for my little niece turning 1. Loved that it could grown with her - first as a sitting scooter and later as a standing scooter. A bonus was the little storage under the seat for her to put her favorite doll that she wants to take with her. She'll get a lot of use out of this over the next couple years - having fun and helping her develop motor skills. Thanks Radio Flyer!!
Bought this for our 18 mos old grandson and it was a big hit! Easy to assemble. He especially likes that he can put small toys in the carrier section and "deliver" them to people. He is too young to use the stand up version but it converts very simply. I would give it a full 5 stars if it wasn't plastic. Would have paid extra for real Radio Flyer Red Metal version. Seems well built though. His older sister took it for a spin (even though she exceeds the weight limit by about 10 pounds) and no harm was done.
Well designed, easy to assemble, should be very durable, at a bargain price. I hope Sam enjoys this scoot/scooter for a couple of years, then to pass it along!
Not easy to assemble. Making a mistake is permanent. I was assembling this myself and was having a hard time getting the front axel to stay exactly in place AND attach the tires AND hammer on the end caps. I got fixated on getting the end cap on and in my mom-brain state didn't realize the wheel had come off. As soon as I got the end cap on, I realized my dumb mistake, but there is no way to undo it. Obviously, the warranty doesn't cover user error. I don't think this is a great design because what are you supposed to do if a wheel breaks? The end cap seem to be impossible to remove.
We got this for our grandson's birthday and when we got it out of the box we did not get the seat part. He can only use it as a scooter. If it would have come complete I would have given more stars. Didn't return it because once he saw it I didn't have the heart to take it away. He's too small to understand. If you get this make sure you get everything before your child sees it
Used for a couple of days then one of the axel caps came off. Not a durable product and it was fiddly to assemble.
I really would like to return this. It was difficult to assemble. The parts don't fit well together. Some are loose and wobbly and the axels are too short so the wheels don't roll well. My child tried to play with it a few times and has now given it up completely.
