I think the ingredients are fantastic and the quality is great, unfortunately my son doesn't love it. Hopefully it will grow on him!
My toddler really likes the taste of this toothpaste and it foams nicely so feels like it's doing a good job cleaning! I use it myself actually and the size of it feels like it's lasted a decent amount of time.
Fun flavor kids enjoy, foams just right, and made with clean ingredients. I like that it contains hydroxyapatite—feels like a gentle, natural boost for enamel strength.
My doctor recommended a toothpaste with the hydroxyapatite. However I have a VERY sensitive mouth and cannot use most adult toothpastes. I love mint and this still has the berry flavor but it does not sting my mouth and provides me with the substance recommended, so I am very happy to have found this!
Ingredients Water, glycerin*, xylitol, hydrated silica, guar gum*, elderberry fruit extract, flavor, calcium carbonate, hydroxyapatate, sodium chloride, vitamin C, cocamidopropyl betaine, xanthan gum, sodium bicarbonate, menthol, coconut oil*, stevia extract*, vitamin E, ultramarin, aloe vera leaf juice. Adults and children over 12 years old: Brush your teeth thoroughly, preferably after each meal or at least twice a day. Children from two to 6 years old: Use a pea-sized amount. Supervise brushing and rinsing the baby. For children under two years: consult a dentist or doctor.
I got this for my toddler because of the one ingredient (hydroxyapatite) because it's supposed to be great for remineralizing your teeth and an alternative to fluoride. It has a delicious elderberry flavour but my toddler says the minty part is "too spicy" so she spits it out. I would use this for myself from now on. Also the paste is a much thicker texture than typical toothpaste.
I was looking for a toothpaste with hydroxyapatite and no SLS, and the other popular brand was out of stock. The flavor is good for adults, the kids probably won't love the minty taste (it would have been better with just the berries, no mint) Quite expensive for its size, but four stars for the ingredients and quality.
Been using it for a while now and it seems good. The taste is good just has a bit of minty flavor but generally good. I bought it because it has hydroxyapetite as its a good replacement for floride. The ingredients are good in general and the package size is good compared to the price.
I wanted to love this but the flavor is horrible. I love the idea, the ingredients but it tastes worse than the old grape cough syrup that no one liked back in the day. My kids hate it. I tried to use it and I hate it. I wish it was mint free and anything but grape.
I loved the idea of a fluoride alternative but both kids hated the flavor. I'm not sure why put mint in it, when most kids don't like mint. Even my son who does said he'll wait with this toothpaste until he's older and my younger didn't want to brush her teeth at all after trying this twice. Tried it myself and I can understand them...
