Works Great!

Danny Boy March 15, 2016

I placed the baits down as directed. The ants appeared to avoid the bait. In a few hours, the number of ants seemed to increase exponentially. I was frustrated. Reluctantly, I left the baits in place. At about hour 30 nearly all of the ants were gone. However, I did not witnessed any ants actually go inside the bait to feed. The product worked for me. The waiting was the hardest part. Patience is not a virtue I can claim.

Ant Baits

ten2one July 26, 2015

The ant bats worked wonders with the smaller ant colony. They came running and the next day, not one in sight. For some reason, the large black carpenter ants walked on walls and carpet, seemingly ignoring the baits. Terrific product and it works quickly.

Over & Done

conjureman November 27, 2015

Short sweet and specific. How I don't know, but I developed an ants nest in my car and could not find it. Sprayed over and over and everywhere, did not work. Popped a bug bomb, it didn't work. I spread all 8 of them around in the car and under the hood. Six days later they were all gone. That is my recommendation.

Add peanut butter

Silence September 10, 2017

I had the same experience many of you did as well.. Parade of ants marching right past and around the bait. I took a toothpick and added a little bit of peanut butter inside the bait. The ants quickly found the pb and attacked the trap. Next day.. No more ants.

Raid Ant traps

Debbie April 8, 2026

Very disappointed in raid ant traps. I have 16 bait traps stationed throughout my first floor, kitchen, bathroom and (living room, for extra security). I've watched these tiny ants & their activity for 10 days so far. Not once have I seen them crawl into the traps….they crawl around it. I'm extremely disappointed in this product, and equally disappointed I wasted my money. As I side note, I've been sure to follow all instructions.

Ants Ignore These Devices

benw84 November 25, 2016

This was the only brand carried at the supermarket so I picked it up with high hopes Similar to a lot of other reviews here, even though the bait is put in the ant's line of travel they completely ignore it. I doubt most people read reviews on this website before buying - so if the product team is reading this - your bait doesn't attract ants.

No good

Adamgrealtor May 4, 2018

As with several other people I wish I would have read these review and I would have avoided purchasing. The ants don't go into the bait houses. They just crawl around the stations. Waste of money. I expect more from a product named raid. I use your sprays but might have to rethink it after this failure of a product.

ABSOLUTELY USELESS PRODUCT

AnTHoteL March 11, 2017

I placed 4 of these traps directly in the path and surrounding areas of the most ant traffic and the ants walk completely around them. I watch 1 ant in particular walk the perimeter of the trap and on top of it and then go on his merry way. This product does not work! Do not buy.

Raid Max Ant Bait Absolutely Useless

jim552 June 3, 2017

Purchase Raid max double control ant bait and located each of 8 along path of ants. Not one ant entered the bait. I went back a day later and still no difference. The ants just walked around the baits. The ants did not even venture onto the bait cannister !! Completely ineffective.

Why is this useless product still on the shelves?

I have ants April 17, 2017

Because of people like me who trust that a product named Raid would work and that I wouldn't have to look up a product review first. If I had I wouldn't have bought it because it doesn't work. PS- the only reason they got 1 star is because they make you press at least 1.
