These batteries last a long time. I haven't had to change them in my radio for a while! The packaging is sturdy, and doesn't have too much plastic, and it's easily recyclable.

Rayovac makes a Wonderful battery that keeps my clock on the right time. The electricity goes out frequently in the rural setting , but a rayovac keeps me on time.

Simply not long-lasting. definitely no for certain kids toys, smoke alarm, etc
