Tested the mic and it sounded noticeably better than my old headset that was 21ish dollars. The fit is comfortable with enough padding for my ears. The fit also helps cancel out most ambient noise. The adjustable sliders feel sturdy, so does the mic stick thingy. The cable is not super long, but between me and my computer, it leaves no excess cable, nor a shortage. The cable is thin, not something bad, just something to note.
I am a big fan of "over-the-ear" headphones. I purchased this set for primary use with 3.5 to C jack adapter on Samsung S25 phone for daily office use. Outstanding operation - great sound and speech. Extremely lightweight and comfortable. Already found replacement ear and band cushion replacement part should the need arise. I am very pleased with the product's performance, fit, and functionality.
i have it connected to my pc from inputs and goes very well with realtek audio console, the eq really brings out the sound in gaming. very rich tones and picks up low bass.. i love watching anime on and action movies and music, with them on blocks out noise very well for me.. light weight and comfortable.. one of the best wired headsets i own.
I recently chose the Razer BlackShark V2 X Wired Gaming Headset for my Xbox, and I'm super happy with my decision. The sound quality is fantastic – really immersive, which makes gaming way more enjoyable. It's also incredibly comfortable, even during long gaming sessions, which is a huge plus. The mic quality is clear, so my teammates can hear me without any issues. For the price, it's an unbeatable value, offering features and comfort that punch way above its weight. Definitely a must-have for Xbox gamers!""
this headset is incredible! i am upgrading from a $20 bluetooth headset which is not comfortable, there is an audio delay, and the quality and volume was also horrible. So this has been a huge upgrade as a fortnite gamer because the audio is louder, footsteps are more accurate and it makes it so much more immersive. Go team foundation!!
The overall feel of this headset is wonderful! I've read other reviews saying that the height adjustments were slipping for them but mine are snug as a glove with no slipping unless I want to move it. Although I will agree with other people that not having a removable mic is annoying at times, it's not anything to really gripe about as it's plenty bendable and the mute/unmute button is located right behind the mic connection. overall the quality of the sound drivers, the earmuffs, the head arch squishy, and the cable are all excellent for the price and I'd probably only buy these from now on. *bought some Logitech g432's and they were absolutely horrible, the plastic crumbled apart in 4-5 months disconnecting the ears from the connecting head piece. bought the razers afterwards and won't look back.
needed to get an inexpensive adapter with green and red female ports to plug into back of PC red and green ports for both mic and sound to work at the same time but no big deal. but yah be ready to get an adapter if you want to use with your PC as well. very comfortable on my head, can wear for hours with no headache unlike with my old pair. easily adjustable headphones, lightweight. looks cool too. all black feeling like I am in the cockpit lol! microphone is great too, i do not have to yell like with my old heaphones for voice to text. i would reccommend!
The plastic shells feel very hollow and cheap. The fit is off, at least for me, compared to my other headphones. The padding doesn't fully seal around my ears or rest on them comfortably no matter how much I adjust them. The sound quality isn't the worst, but it's like I'm listening to music in a damp and muffled hallway. I do like that there's enough bass to tickle my ears and you can crank the volume pretty high. Microphone is okay and clear enough. It works on any audio device with a headphone jack. Not a bad choice for a teenager playing games if you get them on sale, but if you're an adult there are better-sounding and more comfortable headsets/headphones out there in a similar price range. Personally I'm not going to use these.
same as the cheaper version if you're on ps5 i recommend saving money and getting the xbox version instead of pc or ps5 one, ive had others tell me i sound the exact same with the cheaper version regardless of if im on mobile or my ps5. ive used this specific headset for years as its sounds very nice and does not cause me head irritation. only issue ive had is the muffs can be a bit hard to clean and stay clean
I learned that if you're trying to connect this to a Windows desktop PC, you will also need to buy a "splitter" ... the kind with the pink and green plugs. (In my case, two male and one female.) ALSO, if you want to provide the Razer serial number, you have to basically dismantle one of the ear-pieces, and putting it back together was super difficult.
