Better than the Backbone!

Evan May 20, 2025

I was contemplating purchasing this device or the backbone, but I am so glad I chose the Razer Kishi V2! I have been a longtime user of the original Razer Kishi, but this device is even better! The buttons and triggers are super responsive and it feels great to use in the hand. Additionally, unlike the Backbone, this device doesn't require any subscriptions or paid usage, just plug and play! Highly recommend picking this up!

Makes gaming on the go fun!

Edward March 9, 2023

Absolutely love this device. I play just about all my games on my phone with it. Only downside is that my phone case won’t fit with it. Other than that, it's a great product.

This was an amazing gift for my boyfriend. It was a perfect match for his phone. He takes it to work or friends houses and plays on this device daily. Makes me happy to see him using it.

Doesn't fit any iPhone 16's

Evan December 16, 2024

Good controller but not that happy. The controller is very different from the Razer Kishi V1. It is retractable like its competitors now so it won't fit in your pocket. My main problem was the manufacturer website ‘Razer' described the controller as working with any iPhone 16. That is not true. The iPhone 16 does not even fit inside the controller. The phone is to thick. The camera bump extends further out with the iPhone 16's (all model iPhone 16's). I had to return it. The phone bends the controller outwards. Other than that it would be a great controller for older iPhone models. The Razer nexus app doesn't work for USB-C iPhones as they described already. So you can't program the programmable buttons. Which are in the worst place. You need the entire trigger for some games and having them shorter I just never got used to. If you're an average gamer you could make use of this controller.

its a little clunky for my phone. but that may be due to my ohone size. overall works good though

Overall, a good product with minor flaws

Seth March 9, 2023

I like how well it fits my phone with its case on and how the design makes it seem like it won't wear out quickly, but the analog sticks, to me, don't feel as nice as or have the travel of the first version Kishi. I also wish the bridge was a little shorter to fit inside my pocket better.

Great overall.

Using this with my Galaxy fold 3, so yes it does fit. Everything is pretty good. Im not a huge fan of the sticks, the Gamesir sticks are much better. The software is the best ive used, really like the virtual controller option, it wasnt too hard to set up. My main gripe is with the 2 extra buttons on top. The way i have to hold the controller makes them not very accessable for me. All the buttons are very clicky, and mouse like.

the Kishsi hurts your fingers after a while when playing. just pushing down on the joycons is a process. they are stiff and less than responsive. wish I went with the backbone.

A huge downgrade from the original.

Jacob April 5, 2023

I will be returning this product, I'm sure this works okay for games that are designed to be used with a controller but I specifically bought this for its functionality to map on screen controls for Genshin The software for this device is so ungodly buggy. It doesn't let you map one control to multiple parts of the screen. constantly closes for no reason also force closes whenever you get a notification or a phone call while playing. does not work with a phone in a case like the original kishi. like many others will say in reviews the sticks are nothing compared to the quality of the original kishi either. do yourself a favor and buy the original it's pretty much better in every single way.
