Xbox Series S – Holiday Console

Needed a new console for Hogwarts Legacy and this was exactly what my budget needed. Super affordable yet a powerful console. I’ve had no issues thus far and the quality is by far stunning. The console is tinier and heavier than I expected but packs a punch. I very much recommended this if you want to next gen on a budget. Only downside is it’s internal memory: 512 GB. That’s not much for anything. 5-6 games max if you’re lucky. Other than than, it’s worth it. Just know it’s disc-less so you can’t play physical games.

I’ve had this Xbox for about a week. The only problem I’ve had with it so far is call duty Cold War I bought, and I’ve had no help from the Xbox team getting it to work. Very customizable. Very smooth.

I live the value of this console. Not only can you play amazing games from the 360 era which in my opinion are one the best, but, the game pass library and the remote icloud gaming is just phenomenal. So much value and versatility.

It’s perfect and runs good. I’ve had this for 4 months now, honestly it’s worth the money and it’s not even that expensive when comparing to the others systems.

Price was lower than most other places though I did not pick it up in person. I am waiting for it to be shipped FedEx. It's supposed to be here tomorrow.

This was the lowest price I could find, and also it was available for pickup whereas other retailers wanted to ship directly. I prefer pickup up electronic items direct v.s. shipping them to me.

To get straight to the point, on the box which it comes in, it says “512 GB SSD” which lead me to assume I’d have 512 GB of space for my games, though that’s not the case because of almost 29% (148 GB) being used for system files which I feel is very misleading. Other than this inconvenience it serves its purpose to being a better version of the Xbox one S.

Did you ever buy one of those $600 "gaming" PC's, only to realize that it would have been a GREAT system circa 1994? THAT is what the XBOX Series S brings to the console table. And the "Holiday Bundle" is the red headed step-child of this family! First of all, it is 512GB of SSD inside of it. But only 318GB are usable by the customer. WHAT?!? 200GB of system required OS and other garbage? UNFORGIVABLE! 3 games put me over 75% capacity. Furthermore, the Series S seems to be streaming a LOT of its assets. I purchased this to play the Hogwarts Legacy game. And whenever I boot the game, there are visual pixelations all over the screen that I would suspect being the result of a defective product if only it happened in ANY game that isn't "optimized" for Series X and S. Older games like Persona 3, newer games like Disney's Dreamlight Valley, and pixel art games like Vampire Survivors ALL play without any pixelated artifacts. But the first 2 are NOT "XBOX optimized" and the last one has graphics from the SNES era. So despite having downloaded 52GB of graphics files to my new XBOX Series S, it still sems to be checking with the cloud first and foremost. UNFORGIVABLE!!! In fact, the only way to get the pixelated artifacts revoved from the Hogwarts Legacy game is to boot up one of the non-optimized games, and play it for a while. Then to go and play Hogwarts. Then, over time, and through loading screens, they will eventually disappear. Almost like every loading screen rebuffers whatever is happening through the cloud and the optimization process. And over 30 or so minutes, it eventually gets things right. I'm under no illusion that the Series X would consult the cloud just as frequently, but its faster chipset would HOPEFULLY make the issues non-existent, or at least less severe for less time. I've spent the last couple years gaming on PC, but I don't buy enough PC games to justify a $1200 GPU upgrade, so the Series S seemed like it might just fit the bill. Unfortunately, it is a purchase that I regretted almost immediately. From its ridiculous SSD size, to its cloud integration/buffering issues I can't truly recommend ANYONE buy this. If you are a big time gamer, then the PC is probably where you should look. If the prices of GPU's make that unreasonable or impossible then the choice becomes between Microsoft's more customer friendly ecosystem with the XBOX SERIES X, or SONY's terribly consumer unfriendly practices with the PS5. Regardless of which you choose: AVOID THIS CONSOLE, THE XBOX SERIES S, LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I did not receive the product because you canceled the purchase, despite the fact that the bank in Colombia had already done the security process, I am not a thief and I have already bought from you, I only send the things to my friend or to a political uncle , when they are going to come to Colombia, what you do is discrimination

It was open box. I did not know it would be ahead of time. The oroduct was not functional. I wasted time going back and forth to the store to return it.
