Razor Carbon Lux Kick Scooter - Red/Black, Spoked Large Wheels, Folding Scooter for up to 220 lbs

I bought 3 of these for my grandsons. They like the smoothness of the bigger wheels. They had the original razors for 5 years now and they love these much better. They have a bigger deck for both feet to fit on and like a said a bigger wheel. I went to the store to purchase, in the store they were $30.00 dollars more than if I had ordered on-line, so I purchased on-line and picked them up the next day.

Solid scooter. Some images don't have a kickstand but this does have a kickstand. Bigger step up for kids from the a series scooter, but 9-year-old had zero problems adjusting. Would also work for an adult.

this was for my grandson that moved to Cali with his mom he was complaining about leaving his scooter behind and being sore from all the walking so I got him this he loves it.perfect Christmas gift.

I was looking at spending $200 on a different Razor Scooter, just because I could pick the colors for my daughters! I finally came to my senses and ordered 2 of these for $60/ea. and they LOVED them. They work just the same. And there's no fighting over the colors. The only negative (and it's not really) is that they don't fold up. But they fit in both my car trunk and obviously our truck easily.

Assembly is relatively simple—one person can do it, but it's handy to have someone hold the frame while attaching the handlebar's tube to the deck. The only tool needed comes with the scooter—a screwdriver to fasten the clamp to the tube. Be sure this is secured tightly! Once attached, the handlebars are easily adjusted for height by sliding them up and down the tube, and then clamping them in place. With an extra-wide deck frame made of solid, durable black steel, the Razor Carbon Lux Scooter will last for years of use. Its design is sleek and attractive, including black foam grips on the aluminum handles, a shiny chrome foot-brake on the back, and red spokes on the sturdy urethane wheels, which make the ride a smooth, stream-lined experience. The kickstand (found underneath the deck) is easily moved up or down with the toe of your shoe. Kick it up and you're off for a great ride!

I've been liking the scooter. It's stable and nice quality but after my first ride the back wheel started making an annoying snick sound that I can't figure out how to fix. Also I'm a 5'2 adult and the handles are barely the correct height for me, so be careful! Holistically I'm pleased but would warn others about those things.

The oversize wheels on this scooter make it easier to use and smooth over bumps. The size of the wheel correlates to the size of bumps and cracks in the road that the wheel can tolerate. Unfortunately it is much heavier than a regular razor scooter. It's probably not for everyone but for me and for my kids this is such a nicer ride that it's worth the extra weight. Folding it is not as easy as ideal. A regular razor scooter would be better on a very smooth surface like a wooden gym floor.

Exactly what I wanted in a mid-priced kick scooter. I plan to use this for 1-4 mile trips, and it should be very easy to fold up and take on the bus/rails etc. It rattles a lot, but it's not unbearable. It's REALLY TIRING, I sweat a lot, so it makes me wonder if higher quality scooters are easier.I like the carbon steel, and the height of the handle is a little short for me (and I'm only 5ft 4in) as an adult, so this seems to be primarily for children. Overall, it's way cheaper than a car, and quicker

Fun scooter. Smooth ride and the lightweight picks up speed faster than other Razor scooter. I am 240 lb male 6'4” and no issues with handles being too low. 4 stars Downside is the foot frame is higher than usual since the base material is thicker. Support leg has to bend further to kick than the A5 Lux model. Also the base lacks anti-slip. Don't recommend kids kicking too hard on this as their support foot could slip if not positioned correctly. Definitely an adult chilled scooter to stroll around with the kids. Base is wider than other Razor scooters. Overall good buy and I am happy with it.

Having an 8 year old I thought I may as well take the plunge and get him a nicer ride that will last him a few years. He really likes this razor, but it is a bit to large for him. He handles it ok and will continue to grow into it, but something to take into consideration. Easily assembled and he was riding within minutes. Can handle an adult so well the wife and I are thinking about a couple!
