Ready America, 2 Person Emergency Kit (3 Day Backpack), Red, Five Year Shelf Life

When it got here everything was intact but it had a problem. The back of the backpack had over a 2" cut in it. It looked like someone had cut it with a razor knife and it had dirty spots on it. I emailed Ready America and told them the problem and she had a new replacement backpack in the mail. It arrived quickly and in perfect shape. I just have to transfer everything over. This company stands behind it's products. Now as to the whole order itself. It had everything in it that is stated in the product description and on the contents card. This was the 2nd one we purchased, the other was a 4 person one even though there are only 2 of us. Now we have one for both vehicles for emergencies. This is something everyone should have on had as you never know when your going to need to hurry and leave home due to an impending disaster or if you break down somewhere.

I haven't opened the bag! I don't think I'd get everything back into the bag as neatly as it arrived. I wonder what happens if the pack get frozen. I have frozen the 1 liter PETN water bottles over and over without leakage. Anyway, it's a great item to have in my car, or pickup during tough weather traveling. I did buy another 'grab'go' for some friends who go boating. They get lost once in a while!

Perfect size and fit, FSA eligible is a major plus.

I haven't opened the package yet, but believe it to be good quality based on personal recommendation

I haven't been able to use this yet because Its only for an emergency... literally, but Im just happy to know that I have it around in case of an emergency. It has anything necessary for a few days and Im hoping to get one for each person in my family so that well all have our own. I figure if its enough for 2 people to 3 days then if each person gets one it will be enough for 6 days!!!

The selection of items was sparse but adequate for one person. If you needed to survive for more than a day or two this would not meet your needs.

The only thing i don't like is that the water boxes could be more protected but otherwise it is perfect for me

Easy to carry... and light weight!

Beware of this ripoff!!! Product advertised as having 5 year shelf life. The one I received started out with a 5 year shelf life, but it has an expiration date just ONE YEAR from now. So I'll have to buy another emergency pack next year. You can be sure it won't be from WalMart.

Expiring date was within 2 1/2 years for the food and water %26 6 months for the medicine at the time I purchased it. If the price should have been clearance not regular
