RealTree Fishing 3-in-1 Sharpener Multitool

Always on the lookout for creative ways to save $ when a purchase need arises, I was very pleased to find this sharpener, which was several dollars less than the usual knife sharpeners. Although its intended use is as a fishing tool, it works perfectly for sharpening my kitchen knives %26 scissors. Hurray!

This was a gift for my husband and he has loved it ! It sharpens my knives and his with ease and we love realtree products anyway !

I received the item in the mail, and I was eager to see how well it worked. Within minutes of opening the package, I was sharpening various pocket knives in my collection. However, within the hour, the darn thing had already broken. Granted, I'd pushed the carbide extension in the wrong direction, attempting to close it (also while not looking directly at the sharpener), BUT I do not believe it took much pressure at all to break, especially being that I have RA and the joints in my hands were swollen. So, I'd thought to seek a refund, but I figured the base part could still be used for kitchen knives %26 whatnot. File that one away as "WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN"
