I like doing my own maintenance, so when I did my last oil change I decided to try the Red Line Complete System Fuel Cleaner. Glad I did. After running it through a tank, the engine feels smoother and seems to have a bit more pep. Idle is steadier too. It's super easy to use, just pour it in before you fill up. No mess or weird smell. I've used a few different fuel cleaners over the years, and this one honestly stands out. If you're already taking the time to do your own oil changes, this is a nice extra step to keep your fuel system clean and running right. I'll definitely be grabbing another bottle next time.
Good product. Really good. However, since most smaller cars do not have the 20gal mixture requirement, you have to adjust how much Red Line to put in your tank per gallon. For instance, if you only put 5 gallons of gas in after adding the Red Line, be certain to limit this product to 1/4 of the bottle. (The entire bottle is used for a full 20 gal tank)
My experience is that the positive result of this product is longer lasting than that of lucas oil. With lucas oil the mpg improvements lasts around 2 fill-ups, with Red Line, the mpg improvement has remained after 1 month. This has a higher initial cost, but is less expensive compared to lucas oil overtime. 10-year old 4 cyl daily driver.
This item worked good for my direct injection turbo engine. I noticed the difference in performance at approximately 1/2 a tank of gas. I need to add a 2nd bottle to do a little more cleaning. I have switched to one brand of top tier gas.
hi this product has the highest quality of pea if used every three months it will do wonders for your valves and injectors and overall condition of your fuel system
In a couple of months, this product has already greatly improved my fuel economy. Car seems to be running a bit smoother, too. I would highly recommend this over any other fuel system cleaner.
Most products do NOT use polyether amines (PEA.) This is one of the few products that does and it will effectively clean deposits and fuel injectors.
This product had no adverse affects on my car. I have just used one bottle so far and the car has 60,000 miles. I will use it again and have better input after about 3 uses. I will use it every 6 ,000 miles and see,
Problem introducing product into 2013 F-150 has tank. Product won't enter gas tank. Tried funnel with same result. Product spills on pavement. Called manufacturer. Manufacturer was no help. Suspect this is quality product but it will not go into gas tank and pours on ground. BUYER BEWARE. Manufacturer showed no interest in my problem!
This product is great. Shipped directly from the manufacturer, and they need some serious help with their shipping procedures. Unless you want this mess at your front door, get it somewhere else.
