Red Vines Twists Black Licorice Candy, 14oz

After 40 years of smoking, this black licorice helped me quit. Something about the licorice flavor that helps. I haven't smoked for almost 20 years, but this black licorice helps calm me when I'm stressed or uncomfortable. Walmart's is soft and fresh.

I purchased 2 bags. Their flavor was what I have come to expect from the Red Vines candy company. The soft and chewy licorice flavor was consistent throughout the bag. The price was fair for the number of vines in the bag. The photo on the left is an empty bag, while the photo on the right is an unopened bag (but not for long).

Although this was unfortunately a missing item from my order, I can still review how great it is from many past purchases! I LOVE the texture, soft but still chewy. I don't like that Australian super soft, mushy like licorice and I don't like the fake tasting licorice.

This sugar-free licorice is a perfect substitute when you are craving licorice. It tasted great. It helped with my digestion and pre-diabetes issues. I cut the long vines into 3 pieces so it was easier to eat for me - not like the days when kids downed a licorice vine in one mouthful. :)

the only issue I have with this product is that it raises your blood pressure and I already have that issue I do like black licorice

I love black licorice. Unfortunately, stale licorice isn't as good as fresh licorice. Usually the licorice you receive is soft %26 chewy- fresh. This bag isn't- it's tough to chew, definitely not soft, %26 the flavor isn't as robust as fresh licorice. For just under $10.00 for a 14 oz bag it's disappointing.

I have been eating black licorice for 70 years and this is the first time I have had it flake apart when I went to pick it up. It is dated 6/14/2026 so it is not old or stale. It is still eatable just hard to pick up. I have purchased this before and never had a problem.

in prior orders, 14 oz. Red Vines, strawberry flavor was substituted with two packages of a smaller size in the same flavor. in this order, my desired item was substituted with Red Vines black licorice, which I do not like. what happened to my previous substitution request?

It was obvious that they took red vines %26 put a black coating over them. Not much of a licorice taste. They fell apart sometimes when you bit into them. Won't be buying them again.

ive loved Red Vines licorice for YEARS. THE PRODUCT I JUST RECEIVED IS DISGUSTING. as soon as I open the bag the smell hit me. it was awful. it smelled like urine or ammonia. it was not licorice and when we tried to pull out a licorice stick it crumbled so we opened the bag up and all of the pieces had disintegrated it was disgusting I want a refund
