Works well but it was loose fitting in our trailer hitch so my husband modified it to fit without movement.

Just what I needed to adapt a borrowed bike rack to my hitch. Worked great.

Ordered this adapter for my 1 1/4 opening receiver. For whatever reason, had to saw 1/4 inch off part to make hole line up. Two hacksaw blades later and it was ready to go. With free shipping on a $50 order i was able to save 5 dollars off the in store Walmart price.

Gets the job done. Was rough to get in place - the oxidation from my hitch made it difficult to line up the holes, but didn't take long to put it in place. Didn't come with a pin, and seemed pricey for what it is.

We use this for a bike rack. There is no built-in way to reduce the wobble, as the rack can wobble from side to side in the 2 inch end, and that wobble is added to the wobble of this adapter itself as it wobbles in the 1.25 inch end. I'll probably have to shim both to reduce the wobble.

Cost too much. Can get same thing for half price at Harbor Freight. Also holes did not line up with those on my hitch, although that was common with all those I looked at and the one I purchased from H B, which I simply had cut off by machine shop.

The 1 1/4" end did not fit in the factory installed 1 1/4" receiver on my vehicle regardless of which way I tried to insert it. Because I made the mistake of assuming the adapter would fit, I did not try it until I had the adapter for a couple of months and did not think I could return or exchange it. This is the first time I've had an issue with any Reese brand trailer hitch part. I purchased another brand of 1 1/4" x 2" adapter and it worked great.
