Put this on 2015 Ford F-250 super duty that had a six-way for commercial equipment. I had to cut the four-way off right at the connector since I needed every inch... so if they could improve one thing is make the four-way wiring the same length as the additional three wires for 7- way.

Great Affordable Option
Local Walmart sells for ~$28 and only ~$18 online. I bought to add capability for 4 and 7 to my vehicle and it did so successfully.

Needed to tow my pop up camper
I needed a way to convert my 4 pin SUV to a 7 pin pop up camper, and this did the job! it only took about 15 minutes to install, using a hole saw to cut a channel in the bumper.

versatility
gives you the ability to go from large trailer to small trailer plug in without all the hassle of adapters and extra plugs hanging down to get caught on something and ripped off.

good plug but could be a bit better
The trailer plug works fine and the install was easy.. a the wires on back could of been longer to avoid having to splicing wires in to reach the connection point and the back of the plug wiring was hard to wrap as they are spaced out and not in a pig tail form and thus more likely to break in time for that reason.. the four pin plug has a rubber cap instead of a door and I think the rubber cap will likely not last long term either..but worked well otherwise..

Cheap, built cheaply, it should work as long as you're careful with it. The 4 flat adapter is a nice feature.
