nice cheap winch
Works great for what we needed and didn't have to spend a lot of money! Great product!

Good product, terrible shipping.
The winch is exactly as described and worked well for the intended purpose. Shipping and notifications are a different story. 2 day shipping was closer to 2 week shipping with poor status updates. WalMart shouldn't promote items sold and shipped by 3rd parties as 2 day shipping when they have no control over the process. This is common problem with 3rd party shipping.

Good product
Being portable makes it very handy plus the fact it has a 2,000 lb. capacity. Having these features I plan on using it to load and unload my four wheeler in my truck.

seems weaker than rated
Arrived with fist sized hole penetrating box and styrofoam. I tried it anyway and it could pull my Wolverine x2 rolling up the ramp into a midlevel enclosed trailer but it stopped every 8 seconds for a while to reset. It is going back, 2000 lb rating is not enough for my 1500 lb SXS

Not Worth It
This gets a one. Contrary to what it says, the cable will need to be converted to a synthetic strap to avoid binding when recovering a boat. The battery cables are not long enough and the plug where it attaches to the winch broke immediately, so I will add a few more feet of cable and hard wire it to the winch. I would rate this winch for 1000 pounds and not the 2000 pounds as stated.

A very useless product
When i got the winch to my house i hooked it up to my atv to see if it worked good and it did but a few days later i went riding with my friend and i hit a soft spot in the snow and got stuck and it wouldnt let out the cable so i twisted the knob on the side of the winch to let the cable out and when i hooked the cable to a tree the winch wouldnt pull the cable in it just made a tickin sound and if you ask me i would say the motors are no good in them....Rateing the winch i would'nt even give it a half of a star.

winch
Motor is weak and makes rattling noises right out of the box . I've used it 3 times now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better . I'm using it on my jon boat trailer with a boat only weighing about 200 lbs and it still struggles . That's only 1/10 of max weight ...... aw ful weak
