Regalo Easy Open 47-Inch Extra Wide Walk Thru Baby Safety Gate, White, Hardware Mounts Included, Ages 6 to 24 Months

We decided to get this gate to keep a new puppy within a certain area that had no carpeting while we house break her. But the area included a computer room, bathroom and kitchen as well as the front entry hallway. So, we needed something that can allow people to get through easily. We set it up within a 48" space and it is working beautifully. Have been using it for over a week.

I bought this product to keep my puppy out of the hall, which she had decided to use as her personal bathroom. I wish I would have bought this earlier! The gate opens easily so that my 6 year old can open with no problem. Set up was easy and it comes with an extension. So far so good :) Would definitely recommend for pet owners!

The gate stated to fit door ways 27inches to 47inches but the one piece was one bar too short and the other one was one bar too long. We got it to work in the door way but it was a little frustrating to get to fit.

mine came with some rust colored spots that I cannot clean off (and is not rust). Otherwise I am happy with this purchase. I like the height; my dogs cannot jump over it.

I wish the initial opening was a bit wider for you to walk through, I have molding on the baseboards, had to install above the molding, I have a little bit of a stomach, and my pregnant wife, out stomach hits and we have little bruises. Other than that the gate is perfect

This is NOT easy open. It's awkward and frustrating. You have to slide the handle back and lift the whole gate up to open it. Then you have to line up the bottom of the gate with the top to close it. Lifting the entire gate each time. Why not just put the push button?

I ordered this gate to try and save some money but I did not like this gate at all. The quality is not the best, its very light weight, and it didnt function properly once it was installed. When I tightened the pressure mounts, the door wouldnt open but when I loosen them, then the entire gate was just too loose. I returned it and got a Summer brand instead as we already have one and its great quality. Cant say if it was defective or not but either way I didnt like it.

This clearly isn't designed for anything wider than 32 inches. My doorway measures about 38 inches and only the smaller extension will fit, however, it leaves a huge gap between the last bar and the wall where my dog can easily fit through. In addition to that, the gate itself is warped and is lop sided. I'm sending this piece of crap back ASAP.

We ordered the gate and had it shipped to the store. When we opened the box and started to put the gate together the door wouldn't not lock. Returned it immediately. Very disappointed because we were looking forward to having a gate with a door and now have to use our old wooden gate.

Although I read reviews prior to purchase it decided to buy the gate after all. Poor decision on my behalf this gate arrived damaged the supposed locking mechanism was bent, the two extentions were useless. I purchased this gate for a 47 inch opening neither extention was useful. We returned the product. I do not recommended and I will not purchase a Regalo product again!
