I have no small children in my apartment the reason that I purchased these items is because the apartment building that I am living in currently has BED BUGS 😱I Googled bed bugs and found out that they can travel through outlets 😱 so you can bet I use these covers in my apartment and because there were 24 of them in the package I was able to share with other tenants.

Ordered some similar from that online retailer that promises quick delivery but can never seem to deliver lately. I needed them asap so I used my Walmart plus account and had them delivered. The came quickly and worked perfectly. Next time I'll just get them from Walmart to begin with.

I am so glad my husband decided to get these plug protectors, they work perfectly for covering the outlets in our apartment where we have pieces of furniture that are a little close to the wall, and so the risk of fire is reduced to zero. An extra reason I am glad we now have them is that soon we might own a cat which means we'll need to cover a few more outlets to catproof our place. These plug protectors are also 100% recommended for families with little children.

Very simple to use like most but if your child has good fine motor skills and short nails I would recommend putting them with the removable slit facing the ground so they can't pry them off.

I used these plugs before when my kids were small %26 I'm grateful for the safety. Now I use them to keep hot/cold air out. Most homes do not have insulation around the outlets and these days it pays to save $$.

Easy to install. We choose this style for the outlets we rarely use. Not as convenient as the boxes. If you use the outlet, you have to keep track of the plug.

Did you know you lose heat through socket holes too? These help prevent heat loss and help your electric bill by sealing leaks. I also bought the foam seals to put behind all my outlets to save even more on my electric bill

This is definitely what you want to keep your child safe. There's no way a child can get this out. It's a bit hard for me to get it out which is a good thing because I know he can't pull it out.

DURABLE LARGE COVERAGE GOOD FOR WALL OUTLETS CAREFUL!!! --- DIFFICULT --- TO PULL OUT, AFRAID PRONGS WILL BREAK IN OUTLET. BE CAREFUL TO PULL BOTH SIDES AT ONCE WITH A PLASTIC, NON-CONDUCTIVE TOOL TO PRY. these are BETTER than the budget friendly once which easily break off in the outlet! ---> DOES - NOT- FIT MY SURGE PROTECTORS THAT HAVE MULTIPLE, HORIZONTAL, SIDE BY SIDE OUTLETS.

Barely any effort to remove them from the socket, not like the ones I used before that you had to basically pry out of the socket to remove them. I definitely do not recommend them.
