Remedy Waterproof Hypoallergenic Zippered Mattress Protector, Twin

We comfortably slept on the protector last night. No issues. Mattress is 14" high, the protector slipped on and zipped up as expected. We consider this as insurance to protect our mattress. This decision came after a relative picked up bed bugs during travel.

I needed something to protect my mattress for moving. This was perfect. I like the soft comfortable feel of the quilting over the waterproof material below. You can hardly tell it's waterproof. I will use it for more than a move.

I got infested with bedbugs thanks to a neighbor who, during the times the exterminator was spraying at her place, would park herself at my place. I thus needed to remedy my own situation. Bought two of these, one for mattress and the other for box spring- bed is a double/full. Scrubbed, hair dried for an hour on high, and vacuumed. Had exterminator three times to spray. Voila!! After all that, problem solved. The mattress protectors are wonderful- they are nice looking and also rubberized on the inside. Held up very well in hot water wash and hi temp dry, which is vital because heat is what kills the bugs. Thank you Walmart for being there again!!

Seems very well made. No problem with the zipper which I see the main complaint on many of these.

Didn't fit full bed! Too big

Produces heat--The plasitic lining is too much. A nylon or microfiber lining could probably serve the same purpose and be much cooler. Thanks.

It takes several people to rangle this on. The stitching feels like sharp fishing line cutting into your skin when you try to sleep on the cover. The fabric gives but to the quilting stitches do not. The only way I can remove it would be to cut it off as I dont have the help to get it off my mattress. NO I do not recommend this mattress cover.
