If you read and follow the directions carefully, you will have great results and no burn injuries. Curling happens quickly. These curlers heat up within minutes and get very hot. Directions for handling, etc are in the printed pamphlet. While I recommend this product, I also suggest respecting the manufacturer's advice about how to handle the curlers, the strength of the heating element, etc. The clips work great to keep the roller in your hair without crimping the hair. There are no bristles on the curlers, which I appreciate. I would buy this again.

Warm up fast. Hot rollers and clips a brilliant idea. Makes lasting curls in a short time. This is my 3rd one. The hair setters last a long time for me, and when they quit working after several years of use, I don't hesitate to order up a new one. It is a one of a kind hair setter and the only one that works best for me, there aren't really a whole lot of hair setters out there, and I hope this one will always be available. It is the best.

Does what you expect it to do. I'm African American, and it does a wonderful job on my hair. It took longer to arrive than it stated.

I have thick hair and this product is fabulous for people short on time. Easy to use and put away! I highly recommend this product.

Although there's only two sizes of rollers, this is the only set I could find that included a higher count of the large sized rollers.

charged for 2 of these but only received 1 returnable item with picture taken on front porch. I disputed 1 on my credit card as a duplicate and want to return the other (too large for travel) but the system will not let me assuming because it was part of the dispute.

This is compact, neat container, two sizes (med %26 large) of rollers and leaves a nice smooth curl. However, the rollers are very hot and hard to handle without gloves (more so than my other set), the clips are also hot and prevent a secure clipping leaving the roller to pull down at the root, taking away volume. I use it when run out of rollers from my others set, but for the amount I paid you can definitely do better.

The clips get very hot in short time. Keep cotton balls nearby to protect sensitive areas near on scalp or ears from being burned. Otherwise provides greats curls for thin hair. This is my second set of these rollers. Same issue with first set.

The rollers are hard to get back on to the heating rod. The rollers got stuck in every single roll. Not a good product

I have purchased this item and paid full price. As you can see in the picture it has christmas paper taped to it. Is this used or refurbished? If so it should state that is is used. And I paid full prize for this ?
