Great to work with
I've purchased the 300W system along with other part to do a van conversion. Renogy has worked with me throughout the whole process. the panel are mounted and the rest of the install is in the process of completion. Can't wait to get it on the raod and start using my free power. They've been a wonderful company to work with.

Simple design
Simple box with 2 gland connectors. Worked fine for my truck camper, just glued it on.

The Renogy Cable Entry Housing worked perfectly for our application. We used two of these paired with the 1200 watt solar cabin system to power our converted school bus. The only thing I might recommend is the addition of tabs on either side of the housing to give the option of also screwing the housing down. Construction-grade adhesive tape and a sealing agent around the edges worked great for us though!

Had concerns but worked out great.
I was a little concerned that it didnt need to be screwed down. But once the 3m windoweld cured, it won't going anywhere.... ever.

Easy to use and no leaks. I used this to drop solar cables through my camper roof. Works well.

Roof cable boot
Nice low profile cable boot. I needed to add support holes on all four corners. Don't forget a quality silicone caulk.

Building a small truck camper
2019 Nissan Frontier King Cab with ARE aluminum topper/ladder rack This wiring gland worked well for my needs. I have made my own solar panel mounting system to stay low on the ladder rack. This design of gland still fit nicely directly under the panel. Used VHB double sided tape and VHB singled sided tape on top of the double side tape to ensure a good water tight seal. VHB...very high bond. It will take a lot of effort to remove the gland if I ever need to.

not good
no instructions and the housing isn't even wide enough for screwing it to anything. No mount, just a plain plastic piece. It is huge too. Terrible in my opinion. I'm hoping their other products are better as I just spent a lot of money on Renogy stuff.
