Bought a half dozen while installing 8 new rooftop solar panels this past summer. One was defective but no problem returning it to Walmart (be sure, if you buy it online at Walmart, that you first click "Start A Return" in your Purchase HIstory -- before taking it to a Walmart store for a refund).

Just what I needed to allow me to alternate between parallel and series solar panel configurations.

Works overall, quality is acceptable. One major caveat. This item is not compatible with the Renogy MC4 tool. The gap where the tool is inserted to disconnect from another male or female Renogy MC4 connector is not the same as for the other adapters and connectors sold by Renogy. It is not possible to disconnect the MC4 connectors with the tool. All three connectors on each one of the pair have this problem. This was not a one time encounter of a manufacturing defect. I purchased a set from one vendor and noticed the defect and purchased another set from different vendor which had the same problem. The other style of "solid" Renogy parallel connectors that serves the same function does not have this problem. It is possible to get the connectors apart but it does not have the expected compatibility with the Renogy MC4 tool.
