Great security at a good price!

lee November 4, 2025

We bought four solar powered Reolink pan and tilt security cameras, and two were open box items. You can't tell the difference straight out of the box. The pan and tilt motion sensors catch everything.

This camera has been amazing for me no ended up buying another one on Amazon. In the end I bought 2 of these, one Argus 2 and one Argus 3. I went all out with this brand. They have the best all around system. Their app is free to use and free to record your videos to a memory card. When I say free to use I mean everything. You can record videos, set alarms, set customs sirens, speak through the camera, hear volume in your recordings or during live viewing. You don’t need permission for everything or for the company to hold your hand. I’m the app you can easily swap between cameras on your system or their settings. Double tap one camera and all of them pop up for you to view in a quick emergency. Every time a camera goes off for me I’ll immediately click that camera then double tap to see everything because I have one camera on each side of my house. So if someone were walking the next camera would catch them. I have my cameras set up so if one person tries to take a camera, another camera would see it. These camera are very versatile as they are water proof and can be hooked up to essentially any solar panel. They even come with one in some kits. I’ve used mine for 2 winters now and they always maintained enough charge and worked 100% throughout Michigan winters. They say don’t run below -12 but it has never impacted the performance of my cameras. My camera are currently mounted to hooks that latch up under your siding so there are no holes in my siding. But I do not recommend this for your setup as the wind blows very hard in Michigan. All that blowing sets off the cameras. So either drill them into your house or make it a habit to check your cameras consistently. Now, I did have an issue with the sound on one of my cameras and customer service (although over several messages) sent a new one right out to me. Then one of the cameras I got has a solar panel with a bad charging port and they sent a new one out no questions or pictures necessary. Last, the cameras themselves do have rechargeable batteries and are easy to mov and set up on the charger but I never wanted to take mine down so I set them up on solar panels and never had to take them down because of the battery. However, when I switch routers I did take them down to reconnect them and clean them off Now, you don’t HAVE to take them down to reconnect them because the cameras have little QR code that make it extremely easy to reconnect a camera and reset one up. Also, very important to mention. Each camera has its own sort of profile with a password (I use the same password for them all) which makes it extremely easy to add the cameras own at a time to anyones app in the house that you want to have access to them. The camera hold my 128 gb card. You can view the footage that’s saved over the phone and view live video over cellular or WiFi. I just clearly love these cameras and have had lots of experience with them.

Easy set up. Does exactly what I wanted it to do. Good clear picture. I love that it pans and tilts so I can see all around from the base of my driveway to the right I can see my storage shed all the way around to my basement door. To the left, I can see the road in front of me even the neighbors house and and back yard across the road and all the way around back to my front door. I was amazed! I absolutely love it

Quality

Denny May 2, 2023

I have yet to install it but so far it seems very well made and high tech. It comes in good packaging and is sealed. States if seal broken, not to use. It also comes with accessories needed for outside mounting and a big pamphlet book that's easy to read. I plan on setting up soon and installing. Reolink is also US based support so that is another plus factor.

Set up and installation were easy. The camera view is better than I expected. I will buy another one to install on a different area of my house.

Poor bracket design. The bracket only installable in one position and the charging cable has to bend in order to push into the plug. The night picture washes out when the object has some kind of reflective material.

anonymous October 17, 2024

When it came it appeared to be brand new when I open the box the initial charging cord to get it started was the wrong one when I plug the solar panel in to the camera there was no reaction it wouldn't except the solar panel and wouldn't accept any kind of a charge so I sent it back one by another
