RESCUE! Deck Patio Fly Trapstik Outdoor Hanging Fly Trap

A friend suggested these for our backyard and that they would last for 3-4 months. I fit out several as I didn't want any getting bit. They are full after a month or so. No smell, kind of cool looking, very effective! We did both the fly and bee kinds! Love them!

I BOUGHT THESE TO COMBAT THE FLIES AND OTHER FLYING INSECTS, THEY WORK GREAT, I GOT TIE-WRAPS AND WRAP THEM TO OUT SIDE OF HAND RAILS OF MY DECK AND IN MY STEPS HAND RAILS GOING INTO MY SIDE DOOR...NO MATTER HOW CLEAN YOU ARE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE FLIES AND OTHER FLYING INSECTS TRYING TO GET INSIDE UR HOUSE..CRAZY BUT TRUE

These absolutely work!!! I live in the south where it gets very hot and humid. Our trash can has been a breeding ground for flies. We clean it out constantly and it hasn't gotten any better. Now with all the rain we've been having the whole yard has gotten taken over by flies because the grass won't dry up because it's so humid. A friend posted on Facebook about these and I can tell you that they absolutely work!!! We have one by our front door sitting on our porch and one hanging on our trash can. The flies immediately started sticking to them. Within two days I had to get a new one for the trash can because it was so full of flies. I am so happy that these work. We've had gotten so frustrated because we had been trying to get rid of them with all kinds of sprays and what not to no avail. I will have them on auto ship!!!

So much better looking than the strips..easy to put together and for something with a gross purpose it is kinda cute. It really looks similar to the electric zapper I remember that we had when I was a kid. I am sure I will buy this again. I am so glad I took the chance on it!!

I think this little sticky trap has caught 1/16th of the fly population in Oklahoma. It works really well. I found it more effective if you leave one side of the "cage" piece left off and let the flys attach from there. They were weirdly smart to avoid it until I did this. The only downside is if it falls it will stick to anything. It doesn't smell which makes it great for the patio.

I love rescue products. I bought to get rid of fly infestation. I've used it twice. The skinny stick catches them all. I just wish it was a little cheaper. I did have to use 2 or three. And the fly bags work excellent too but need to make sure you do get rid of them at the 30 day mark or they really start to smell.' We needed to use something with out harsh chemicals since we have kids around and several pets so it needed to be safe. Thank you rescue for making kid and pet safe products. I would recommend.

The fly trap didn't work for the first two days I had the cage on and had it sitting on my table in the back yard. Buuuut I put it near this planter where all the flys swarm and took two panels off and once I did that a few flys got caught… that's the trick if you get a few flies on it just enough that other flies think it's a good landing place you can put the cage back on it and boom it works amazing. But with cage on at first it did nothing I get why people complained about it. I dunno if it's the pattern or what but they don't wanna land or fly in the cage at first and it sucks.

( B) This trap is average. Very easy to assemble and simple. No smell to it. It does catch insects but not as effective as other products I tried. Mine has a couple of wasps and large mosquitoes in it also. It's good if being used in a place with low “flying insect volume. Like screen porch or something like that. I am not sure that it would be very useful in a area with high volume insects

I don't often review things negatively but this has not been helpful. It has caught most everything else except for flies. Its not ugly and it doesn't smell bad, but has not been effective at all. Be careful when you are setting up to not touch the glue part!

Man I wanted this to work and was so excited to get this after reading the reviews. I have a ton of flies hoving over a couple different areas. I have put it in each area for 3 days each and have caught one gnat. Not even a fly!!! Not one and I'm not even exaggerating! For some reason flies at my house hate this item!
