Restored Apple iPad 2 9.7inch 16GB WiFi, Black (Refurbished)

My unit looks and works like brand new and I couldn't be happier. The iPad updated the operating system during setup to version 9.2.1 which, as of this writing is a very recent version, and I haven't found any software it won't run. The only negative was that the end of the 30 pin charger cable was bent and would not plug into the iPad reliably, but i bought a replacement cable and all is fine. The battery on the iPad holds a charge very well. Someone else recommended purchasing this item from Walmart (as the seller) so it would be easier to return if the unit was not in excellent shape, and that's what i did, but in my case the unit was excellent and I'm definitely keeping it!

I ordered this refurbished iPad after shattering the screen on my old one. It had become kind of glitchy, so instead of replacing the screen I decided to try this. It arrived ahead of the promised delivery date, nicely packaged, and in pristine condition. I plugged it in, went through the preliminary set up, connected to my iCloud account, and all my stuff appeared. It works great, just like my old iPad when it was new! It works smoothly, no glitches, looks like new, so I'm very pleased with this purchase. I've only had it two weeks so I can't vouch for its longevity, but it's perfect right now!

This is a pho-mazing deal. I purchased several for family members so we can all facetime from the different locations we are across the globe. The ipad arrived in perfect condition and it was very easy to get started with all the programs and apps. For a refurbished product it looked and felt like brand new. Very impressed. Thanks! Love having my first Ipad. I have a Iphone 6 which made me like Apple Products. Everything works, Condition Excellent, Packaged nicely and the Company that it came from deserves an A++ rating. Thank you Walmart and seeing some of the reviews that were bad I can't say what happened did not take place but my experience was great. I took it out of the two boxes and let it get to room temperature before I began to use it due to it being cold ( February ) and I didn't want to cause any damage. Once it came to room temperature I began downloading favorite apps, testing my music, photos and getting my settings together. It was heavier than I thought since I had been using my phone, but I will enjoy it for several years to come and I know others will as well. Have a blessed Day and Thanks again!

order this for the Grandson the 1st one didn't work so they sent another and the one worked and seemed a lot nicer happy with the quickness of the turn around from the bad to the good I understand you buy refurbished and this can happen even with new

got this iPad at a good price - replaced the one we already have, which had been dropped, bumped, was blacking out. Since my daughter is the cause of all the problems I thought I'd look into a new one. Found the refurbished one and that was even better, especially for the price. Transferred my stuff from the old one to the new one and I'm good to go.

So far everything seems good. The only I would recommen, it would be nice for the company to take the time to make sure the front glass isn't so scratched up. In my case I think they should have replaced the glass, it was badly scratched.

I received the refurbished iPad on February 13th. I opened the shipping box on the 14th. Attempted to turn it on but it wouldn't. Charged it overnight. Attempted again to turn it on on the 15th. It still didn't start so I called the company and had to listen to hold music that was horrible. The lady the eventually answered the phone was polite and handle the situation appropriately. She sent me a return label and I put the broken iPad in the mail on February 13th. The company received it February 16th. The company via email acknowledged receipt on February 22, 6 days after the USPS sent me confirmation of the iPad being delivered. Since that time I have heard nothing from the company or Walmart about my not working iPad. That about sums it up. I think I'll get on the phone with Walmart to see if they're able to get me an iPad that works.

I bought this iPad for my 35 year old daughter as a gift. When it was delivered......arrived in absolute terrible condition! The iPad metal case that holds the entire iPad and screen together was terribly scratched, dented and chipped. It appeared that someone had replaced the screen. They couldn't get the screen off or a new screen on properly. So they wedged small pieces of metal under the screen and the metal frame part by the screen. The little shims of metal that were under the screen also stuck out around the metal frame. It took 3 emails and 4 days to finally get a return number from Altatac. Sent the iPad back to Altatac today. Told them if they couldn't accommodate me with a better quality iPad? THAT I WANTED A REFUND! I have bought different refurbished items from other companies in the past. I've had positive experiences. Until with this refurbished iPad.

First off, I'm wondering about this company named Alcatac? Nobody ever answers their customer service number listed. Secondly, they are extremely slow to respond to email inquiries. I purchased a Grade A Refurbished IPad and what I received as more like Grade C. The glass had all kinds of scratches on it and the base of the unit had a large nick it. To top it off, the unit didn't even work!!! It took 4 weeks to get the return processed and a replacement shipped! Then the replacement I received came and the rear camera didn't work the first time I tried to use it. Now I'm waiting for someone to respond again!!! Extremely frustrating and even more disappointed in the false description!
