The sound is ok. I would buy them again. If they fit a little more snug it would block out noise to hear better. I just use them to listen to things on my phone or iPad. They are nice looking, headphones fold in and I feel are a good. A good buy for the price. With care they'll last a long time.

Outstanding performance for a light, inexpensive open-air headphone. I have only had the headphones for a couple of weeks but I am impressed so far. I have a very old set of the Koss portable headphones which are still far better than any of their replacements or much more expensive headphones, and these JVC flats are very close to the sound quality of those Koss portables.

I love these earphones so much, that all others annoy me. I love that I can turn the volume of my iPad up all the way, take the earphones off and set them on a table or wear them around my neck and still hear the music without blocking my ears. Also comfy, and Walmart.com delivered them so fast and cheap, that it didn't even bother me that they no longer stock them in the stores.

these have a very good sound to them i love it. the only thing i dont like is if you have them on for a very long time they can get a bit uncomfortable. but other then that they are awesome.

Nice clear, stereophonic sound -- from the lowest base register to the highest. Only one concern, the California warning on the package regarding cancer-causing agents being present. Would like to know risk level.

These inexpensive headphones are some of the best I've ever had. Unbelievable sound quality and rich bass for something so cheap. I like the fact that they fold flat and fit into my bag easier. The only problem I've had is that the wire shorts out easily. If the cord gets caught in something or pulled a few times they're broken. This is my third pair, luckily they are affordable.

Sound most important. Outstanding. Great fit and color.

The earphones are not bad. They're comfortable and light on your head. However while the sound was OK because of most of the reviews I expected better. The sound is clear and non irritating but the bass and highs are somewhat weak. I have a pair of PHILIPS that I purchased at Five and Below for $5 that to me have a better sound. I return the unit at my local Walmart and was promptly credited my purchase cost.

The last two pairs of these I bought broke within a few months. They both broke at the plastic temple part. Avoid, don't seem to be made with the same quality as before.
