Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Polish - Bet On Love

I don't get my nails done at a salon but do like them to look nice, so I try to keep them looked after (when time permits!) I like to file my nails so they are one length and I like to apply a nice colour. I usually opt for lighter colours for during the week and darker colours in the weekends. So, having said all that, I also like varnishes that last long on the nail. My hands are often in water due to housework and cooking, so I prefer a varnish that has a long lasting finish. The Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in 530, Double Down is a nice shimmery golden hue, which goes on well. The consistency of the nail polish is smooth and has a lovely shimmery sparkle, like a nice bronzer. As my skin colour is olive brown, it matches well with my skin tone. That's not to say it won't compliment lighter skin tones, I am just saying how it looks when paired against my colouring. It gives off a nice summery vibe. The polish is solid and vibrant enough that you can get away with applying one coat only, as I have done before. Whilst not sure if it is marketed as quick dry, the nail polish does dry quite quickly, which is ideal for those like myself that want their hands to look nice but don't have much time to muck about with top coats, etc. I simply apply a coat or two of Double Down, wait a couple of minutes and then I'm good to go! I'd also like to mention that the polish doesn't streak, which is a big plus, as I don't like the look that some nail polishes give when they are too thick and streak. This polish looks smooth, even, and shimmery. Big ticks from me!

Been buying this particular color for awhile now. I use more than one coat to achieve the shade that's right for me. The great thing about this is you can use as much or as little as you want...it always looks great. Revlon is a long standing brand you can depend on to get a great product at an equally great price. Buy this...give yourself a happy day.

Oh my god! I work at a convenience store & am SUPER hard on my nails. I have been using this product for a month. I can paint my nails on Saturday and by Friday I have very minimal chips or cracks. Usually I can only wear polish for 2 days without the tips all chipped off. This works for a week! I have like 4 colors of this product, it is awsome!

I purchased this nail polish to pain my nails as I bite mine. I'm usually very picky with colours and find that other nail polish comes off too quick or the colour doesn't max what it actually looks like but not with Revlon. It's very true to colour and remains on my nails for quite awhile!

This color is so pretty !! A beautiful neutral with tiny sparkle . I keep buying only because of that. It doesn't last very well, at all . I have to redo every other day, with normal everyday activities . I have tried with a base %26 top coat . It helped but not a lot . If I ever find this similar color in a better brand , I would stop buying this one .

I had a bottle of this I loved but the color of the newest ones wasn't as pink as my original … almost ivory so I'm a bit disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this nail polish and top coat with such high hopes. I really like the look of gel nails and to get this without the hassle of using the whole UV thing sounded great. Unfortunately it turned out to be quite disappointing. The good parts were: the polish and top coat were easy to apply. I liked the brush as it made the polish go on much easier than the brushes from some other brands (basically, I didn't get it on the skin around the edges of my nails!). It also dried quickly, which was great. I'd been worried it would take ages to dry but it was nice and quick. It also looked nice and gel-like glossy. The bad: I applied the polish on a Sunday night and it was already chipped by Monday afternoon. So disappointing! And this was going about my normal routine where other brands usually last at least 4 or 5 days. I also found the colour a little streaky. I used a darker colour and found that it needed three coats of colour to achieve the look I wanted. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be purchasing any more of the colours from this range.

DO NOT use this product. myself and 2 friends all bought this in different colours. Wears great and it looks just like gel polish but after the 3rd application it turned our nails yellow and we all suffered chipped and peeling nails. It has been weeks to get my nails looking good again.
