You can buy cheaper nail nippers. I've found the Revlon brand to be of very high quality and durable. They do seem to stay sharper longer than some other brands.
I was a Professional Cosmetologist. These Revlon Cuticle Nippers are sharp, top quality stainless steel.
I love these! I have been doing my own manicures every week at home for the past ten years and these cuticle clippers have never let me down. I use them to take off the dead skin around my nail beds and they work great. Visit my blog at christinaschiccorner.com to read my more detailed review of them as well as other products that I use to get the perfect salon manicure at home.
I have bought this product many times over the years because I do my own nails. The description of half claw (Revlon) is a particular tool, blade length and angle that I prefer. Although this was described as half claw, it was a different nail tool that I have ordered before. I am trying to learn to deal with it but it is not the same tool.
Are huge, way too big too use as cuticle nippers. Said 1/2 jaw, but package must be mismarked. Thought I had bought the wrong ones. Compared them to my other 1/2 jaw nippers
Its horrible. Its dull and I have to yank at it to cut it. Horrible!!
The product itself is good. The delivery system was worthless. I paid for Walmart to bring it to my door. I'm sure you could have gotten it from a couple miles away and brought it to me. Instead you ordered it from more than a thousand miles away, and didn't bring it to me. I am disabled and can't leave my apartment. Same thing happened to items I ordered in 2/25- I just now am getting from my apartment manager. Walmart shipping STINKS. Contrary to this, the store delivery is excellent and I will continue that.
The screw came out as I pulled it out the packet. Tried to screw back in but the screw and the hole are different sizes. I have the same product but was wanting a replacement and this is very different.
I have ben for ages using revlon cuticle trimmer. I felt it was time to replace my 15 year old trimmer. Had the worse experience ever. The trimmer has no spring and after every cut it will stay shut and you have to manually open it everytime. Time to rethink and Go back to your old trimmer. I rather pay more and get quality than get this!
As good as the cuticle nippers are, the spring design and material are just as bad as turns too soft with use and breaks after three or four times. This is the second one purchased with same results. Please be advised, until either Revlon authorizes stronger material for spring or finds another third party manufacturer I would not recommend purchasing this Revlon product. I have always trusted the Revlon brand and hope they can make value added changes to restore faith in purchases.
