I love this for root touch up! It is so convenient to mix only what you need. I leave it on for 30 minutes instead of the suggested 10 minutes and I’ve been very happy with the result. My only sadness is that it is difficult to find especially in light blonde
This is ideal for a quick fix for graying hair! It's easy to use and does the job well. It takes much less time to use Root Erase than to color all hair, and this really extends the time between coloring. There's plenty of formula in the package for at least three uses (probably depending on how much you need each time) and I was able to get four uses from it. The color blended perfectly with my own.
This blends well with my salon color in between visits, covers my grey, and is much easier to use than the thinner formula I used to use. After I apply the cream to my hair I pop the top of the dispenser off and flush it out with hot water and also clean it with the end of the handle and the brush itself until I see water running freely through both holes. Each time I dispense I make sure I have equal amounts of both components of the cream. I have lost track of how long I have used the same bottle and it works just as well as the first time.
I would color my hair every 10 weeks. I was due for my next coloring right before our state got closed down with stay at home measures. My gray roots were now at least 1-1/2 inches long. There is know way I can make it an additional month in a half to two months before coloring. Bought this root touchup. I don't have the solid gray roots. It is spaced out but still a lot of gray. I had my daughter do they touchup for me. What a good job she did, This was so easy to apply. It took her a little while to apply it. When she finished, I only kept it on for an additional 5 minutes. Then I washed my hair with conditioner only. I was so surprised with how well this covered my gray. At least now I know I can make it to my next appointment. Whenever that will be. I highly recommend this product.
I have been using Revlon Root Erase for over a year and absolutely love this product! The best thing about it is that I can use as little or as much as I need each application. You do not have to use the entire container at one time, like most root cover products. Instead, you squeeze only the amount of the product you need into the cap, mix and apply. One container will last me a few months, the provided brush works great on the hair around my crown, and the color is perfect for me.
Medium brown did a great job of covering my gray roots! (I have highlights so I tried the blonde first; which did not cover my previously highlighted gray roots, not sure if they have dark blonde that could have)
This is very convenient for touchup and I have stretched it to last more than the usage says. Just make sure you don’t leave it on your hair for longer than directed.
I am not someone that normally does my own hair. Due to the current situation (Covid 19), I had to do my own roots because my hair grows out very very white. In the past, I have gone to the salon every 4 weeks. I am happy to say that I was very pleased in how easy this product was to use and my hair came out great! I'm not sure how long it will last, but the container has enough for 3 times. It took less than a half hour to complete.
- color looks natural - easy to use - very nice to be able to use multiple times The only drawback is there is always some cream left in the nozzle holes of the dispenser, kinda some waste there as you have to run them off after dispensing each time. I think that can be fixed by a better design
I used it for the first time. Waiting 10 minutes and It didn’t work at all. See pic. The gloves are so tiny Worst product development. My hands are medium.
