Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, Plum Velour

I have 4 other Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in my makeup drawer. I love them all. The lustrous lipsticks are creamy and glide on smoothly. The lipstick has no odor or taste. When I licked my lips after applying, I could not tell I had lipstick on. The packaging is great since the cap is clear on the top and you can view the exact color of the lipstick. The color - 041 Gold Goddess - is barely visible as you can see in my photos. I think this color could be worn by older women everyday just to keep their lips moisturized or by a young teenager just beginning to use lipstick. Because the shade is so natural this lipstick would match any outfit you are wearing.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Gold Goddess is a very good lipstick to wear in cold weather. It is soft and easy to apply even when the temperature is cold. I love the feel of it, more like a gloss than a lipstick, but it stays on like a lipstick. The Gold color is more like a neutral than a true gold so it would match anything you wanted to wear it with. I like to use it over darker lipstick and make it shine.

U cant go wrong with Revlon. A tried %26 perfected company. Their lipsticks r creamy %26 go on real smooth. I picked this color in the pink shade %26 its perfect. Walmart %26 team thanks for making it available %26 delivering in a couple of days.

I’m trying to be objective however it’s not my favorite. I did buy this color based on an Instagram post as a lip topper. I haven’t used it over the exact lip color she’d recommend since this one isn’t great. It could be good in the right lip combo but the texture can get “gritty” and I don’t get much payoff. For me it somehow turns a “grayish” tone over any lipstick I use under it. I’ll keep it for now but not my favorite Revlon lipstick color.

The Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, 042 Lilac Mist, 0.15 oz goes on smoothly. It has decebtbcoverage and is moist enough to wear in dry winter indoor heat without drying out lips. The color is really cute. The tube has a clear top so you can see the color when you grab it out of a drawer or purse. The only reason I gave the color appeal a rating of 3 was because the color, with my red hair made me look like I was freezing and my lips were blue. I still like it as my hair will be much lighter in summer and it's a cute lilac color.

I was stepping outside of my box with Lilac Mist. I really liked the color when it arrived and had to try it on. I was disappointed however. The color did not show very well and when I put another coat on it looked splotchy for lack of a better word. I will attach a photo that shows 2 coats on. It doesn't look bad just not what I was expecting. The Revlon lipstick was very moisturizing and I liked that however it didn't stay on very long. So if your looking for a long lasting lipstick you don't have to keep reapplying this is not it.

The color was to light and more of a matte finish.

The first thing I noticed when I applied this lipstick is that it is really sure add the color did not show up until you apply several coats. I personally do not like to wear my lipsticks sheer unless it's a gloss. However I do expect my lipsticks to show a thick and vibrant color that this lipstick failed to do. I did not try it however this may be something to use for an ombre application of lipstick but by itself it is not what I would use.

I bought this lipstick online because the particular colour I like is so hard to find. I also bought 5, which is the limit I could purchase (I assume because the price is so good, Walmart is afraid I would buy in bulk and re-sell at a higher price elsewhere). And, of course, they sent me 5 of the wrong colour.
