A bit pricy for what it is but it's doing the job I want. Keeping the ground wet for new grass seed.

This straw is easy to work with %26 settles in perfect. I have planted tender flowers %26 vegetable's BUT the heat from sun can make drying out QUICK a major problem. Raking pinestraw is a pain as I have nerve damage in my spine so having THIS CLEAN SHORT STRAW to layer on top of my plants is WONDERFUL!! I WILL be using this as my plants mulch from here on out.

Works like a charm. Easy to put down and the tack keeps it from blowing away in the wind. You'll want to wear gloves though because when I didn't, the moment my hands got wet when watering the garden, I had sticky slimy goo all over them from the tack getting wet

I use as mulch in my garden. Works well without the worry of errant weeds popping up.

I needed a natural mulch for my vegetable garden but I couldn't find any hay in my area. This hay is fluffier than I expected and very clean. It's perfect around the base of my tomatoes, green beans, and kale.

I have purchased this before to mulch my vegetables with. I love this because it really helps retain moisture and protects my raised beds and containers from drying out or from the soil getting too hot or cold. But this last bag started to sprout all over the place! I had a ton of little sprouts from the bag just popping up throughout my containers. So, not great as a mulch, maybe it is best for grass.
