Tasty, economical, and easy to prepare. Can be cooked stovetop, microwave, or even a slow cooker. Flavor and texture is good. Seasoning packet is separate from the rice. Inexpensive side dish to keep on hand.
DELICIOUS!!!! Great for family dinners!!! Had this to compliment our baked chicken for Sunday dinner!!! Also, rice cooker friendly!!!! Will be purchasing more!!' One box wouldn't do because it's a HIT with the family!!!'
Rice-A-Roni Long Grain %26 Wild Rice is awesome on it's own as a side dish or making soup with, or an instant casserole, by using cream of mushroom soup with or use cream of chicken soup together along with some fresh veggies halfway through simmering as instructions on box. Then mix soup or several flavors of soups to make it a casserole. Simple and easy!!
the box could be filled halfway. I absolutely love wild rice in long grain rice. toss in a can or Rotel tomato bend n onions n I'm good to go. sometimes I sprinkle on a few spices but mostly I like the rice to stand out. I'd certainly recommend RiceARoni long grain rice with wild rice.
Did you know that the packet of spice included in this Rice-a-Roni wild rice makes soups, meats and fish dishes taste so delicious? Sometimes I set the packet aside and just have the rice and its butter or margarine or I may use a small amount of the packet in the rice and the rest on my meat source especially Tilapia or Salmon. Don't take my word for it, try it and your guest will want to know just what you used in your dishes! Those of you who can't cook the preparation for the rice is spot on, just season some meat and throw it in the oven guaranteed to impress!
When I was a kid, my mom made mariseroni, and then you kind of change your eating habits when you move out and get married. And I never thought of making it for my kids, I i saw it pop up when I was grocery shopping online I thought that would be a nice change i'm glad I did.It is still as good as it used to be.I highly recommend it
Very handy for a hurry up side dish. Sometimes I add mushrooms and/or meat and this becomes a main course. Flavor is good, cleanup is easy. Simple.
JUNE 15, 2026 First, I am not associated with Walmart or Rice-A-Roni except for being a customer. I'm retired and living on a very modest Social Security, so every dollar counts. Where else can you get a good protein dinner for under 2bucks? No where except for Jack-in-the Box. The flavoring/seasonings are real tasty and IF you follow the directions exactly the rice turns out perfect. I'm 72, 5'11" at 220lbs and it fills me up completely, ENJOY...
Wrong item delivered. One box of wild rice, the other 2 were beef flavor. Just a mistake on shelf likely.
Walmart shipping fails again! Great rice, however 4 of 6 need to returned because they arrived broken open with rice everywhere. This is the 3rd straight order from Walmart.com with shipping damage - I think I'm done!
