These are perfect for the tickle in your throat coughing fits that happen at the end of a cold. They are hard on the outside but have a soft center. I like that they have no menthol and the flavor is like a caramel candy - no fruity medicine flavor.
Coughed so much when I was sick my throat got sore. My son ordered these for me. The FIRST one did the trick. Instant relief! No horrible taste, or gag a maggot stench. It's bad enough a person feels miserable so it's unkind to make them take medicine that is horrible too. THESE are a lovely gesture to give to someone, instead of that smelly menthol eucalyptus crud, the ineffective honey lemon stuff, or worst yet, the Dreaded Hot Toddy.
In my 63 years of life I have never tolerated cough drops. I have COVID and the symptoms showed up two days ago with the worst sore throat I've ever had, worse than strep throat. I'm on oxycodone due to a recent surgery and even that hasn't alleviated the throat pain. My son gave me some of his Ricola drops caramel flavor with liquid center and they have been the only thing that has brought me relief. I ordered some for myself and they have made it bearable for me to be able to eat and drink. I think without them I would be dehydrated by now. Thank you Ricola and thank you Walmart for delivering them.
The first time I saw these, I bought them because I love caramel. I wasn't sure how they would taste, especially if there was a bit of menthol. They are delicious and they work well. LOVE!
These work excellent for mild sore throats and coughs. You can still taste the herbs in them, but the caramel helps a lot with the flavor. I find these particular ones to be the best flavor out of all the ricola I have tried.
These work EXTREMELY WELL %26 have a soothing effect on your throat along with tasting better than ANY lozenge on the market!! I had the real bad flu along with/an extremely raw throat and horrible cough and these helped so much! I highly recommend them!
This is soo addictive! The flavors are great, especially the honey center. It does help with my dry throat, so I really do have a legitimate reason for wanting to buy these in bulk. Fibromyalgia and Sjogrens means I need help getting my mouth, throat, and nose moisturized. This works without making me feel nauseous...bonus!
I wouldn't use this for a cold or sore throat but certainly to maintain a moist mouth and throat. The taste is nice and very smooth but the caramel flavor definitely comes through.
The taste is not what I expected. The drops have a “liquid” center supposed to be a caramel flavor. The small amount of liquid center tasted like a weird peppermint, similar to cough syrup. I have used other Ricola cough drops and liked them.
did not relieve my cough or soothe my throat. not enough caramel to taste. love ricola sugar free cough drops. have been using them for years. they are the answer for a cough.
