Only item that would fit a 2014 Camry, used it sidewise since the rails we had custom-made had to be close together (30 in.) on the roof. Went through 60 mph winds, rain, 109 degree heat, and over 2000 miles on this maiden voyage.The bag withstood it all, and over ten loadings and unloadings on this vacation. Still like new. Pleased we followed instructions to a T. Warning: you will reduce your m.p.g. using this product: by about 7% for us.

This was a wonderful product. No problems with rain and noise that was experienced was minimal. Twisting the straps that connected in the car allowed air to wrap through them versus cutting through the wind. I recommend going through the instructions as they are a little confusing. I would highly recommend this product and had no problems with the 1400+ miles that were driven with it. Also pack it full.

I purchased this item because I was moving out of state. I strapped it to the roof of my Honda Accord, packed it with my duffle bags and other tote bags and drove over 700 miles without incident. It rained for part of the trip and everything stayed dry. Great product for the value. Follow the directions and you should have no problems. I didn't hook it to the frame. We attached the hooks to the rings on the bag and ran the straps through the car and tightened them. Whenever we stopped, we checked the bag and the straps.

This carrier worked perfectly. It holds a lot and never shifted on the top of the car (although we did put an anti slip rug mat between the car roof and carrier). It stood up to heat and rain and packed up into it's carrier (the size of a small backpack) when done. Definitely worth the money!

We followed the directions on both the carrier & the reviews here. Great tips.Took a heavy load of boxes surrounded by clothing to pack it tight. Drove it over 2000 miles. No problems at all w/ weight or weather. (our stuff did not get wet in the downpour) It comes w/ everything you need. I drive a car w/ no roof rack. Great product good price!

i used this on my Explorer, it fit well and stayed in place for my 1300 mile trip, I did drive through a farily heavy rain and some of my cloths got wet but other then that i love this thing and will be using it again...much better to load on the roof of the vehicle 4 1/2 stars

My family of 7 took a 5 day camping trip in a Ford Explorer and needed extra space. THIS WORKED GREAT! It's huge! We loaded 2 large canvas suitcases, a full laundry bag, all of our kitchen supplies, 4 stuffed animals, 3 pillows, a few comforters, and bathroom supplies in a rubbermaid tote in this carrier. I probably could have fit more. The only negative thing I can say is that you have to be careful you put the straps on right and tight. The instructions were a little tricky and ended up doing it our own way. It rained twice and everything came out bone dry. One great buy! I would recommend this.

I drive a KIA Soul. This was perfect for a trip that I was taking over 600 miles one way to the beach. A lot of room and easy to assemble. I do recommend the padding to go underneath, because I put the bag and the padding on and did not have it centered on the top of my car and it was hard to move around with the pad underneath. This assured me that it was going to be hard for the bag to move during the drive. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because of the straps, as several people have mentioned. The straps that come with the bag are not long enough to attach inside the car. I chose to not use the hooks, and went and bought my own straps so I could connect inside the car. We experienced rain and everything was dry inside the bag. There was a little wind noise with this carrier, but not bad. I noticed at a rest area that the straps were being rubbed by the circles that they go through, cause the straps to wear. I purchased a small roll of duct tape and taped the straps where they ran through the rings preventing the wear from happening. This is also helped reduce the wind noise, because the straps could not viberate from the wind. This is a great carrier for small cars, would purchase another one if I needed it!

After one time use taking it out for a 6 hours drive. i have found that the corner on the back side you can see the seams where they are sew. I am really worry that if i take it out for another long drive, I'll have to pick up my items off the high way.

I'm not happy with the quality of this item. I used it for a trip to Florida with my family it was about 1200 miles each way. The straps that came with the carrier are cheap and it's hard to tighten the carrier down. The bag also stated to wear in the front causing the material to crack. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you can't afford a better one.
