These gloves are perfect to use on a punching bag. I am not a boxer but at the gym I like to hit the punching bag and take my frustration out on it...I remember once wearing an old pair they had at the gym and hurting my hand but these gloves are amazing and have so much padding that you don't really feel anything with the constant pounding of the bag. This definitely has enough padding to protect your hands and wrist. Ringside is an amazing brand and these gloves show just that. These gloves are very well constructed, and the IMF Tech padding is magical and it absorbs all your punches. The fit is snug and the velcro closure makes your wrist feel secure and tight. The material keeps the hands cool. These gloves come in a variety of nice vibrant colors...I absolutely love it!! The gloves are also light weight so it's easy to pick up speed. These gloves are also easy to clean and wipe down. I love how reasonably priced these are for such good quality gloves. I received my Ringside Fitness (APEX) Bag Gloves in the colors of Pink/Lime in size L/XL a few weeks ago, and let me just say if you're looking for some light and inexpensive Fitness Gloves these are the Gloves to get for your fitness training. Inporttant note about these Gloves are they're not for boxing, but for working out on the punching bag at the gym or in the comforted of your own home. These Gloves are easy to put on and take off with their wrap around Velcro closure. My 19 year old daughter has a pair of boy, smaller, gloves. They just do not feel right when practicing with her cousin. She is a very small woman. She is only 5 foot tall and a very small frame. We got these gloves in a large and assumed they would not fit her, being too big for her. They fit her perfectly. She loves that they are not too tight. She said that her punches seem easier to throw, because they seem to be lighter and not tight. In my opinion, she is boxing better against my nephew and she looks better doing it with these gloves. They look like they were going to be too big for her. After trying them on the first time, she said that they feel better than her old gloves. She then tried boxing with her cousin and loved the feel. I am very surprised that the large actually fit her very small hands better that the medium. We are going to look for gloves from this Apex for my nephew now, to make the matches more even. When buying these gloves, I suggest you go up a size bigger than normal. They are light and make boxing seem like a breeze. You will really like the feel of easier punches. My daughter and nephew like these gloves better than the set that they both had before. I do suggest this brand!

I received my pink/lime Ringside Apex Bag gloves today. I was very exited to try these as I have a heavy bag that my husband and I have incorporated into our workouts fairly recently. The bag came with gloves that are just basically cloth that you put on your hands. They offer no protection whats-so-ever. I first noticed that the gloves are fairly large, formed and very padded. The design is very appealing with the majority of the top side being pink and the bottom of the hand being lime green. I put them on and I knew that this is what I've needed for my heavy bag workouts. It was a little difficult the first few times putting the second glove on after the first, but I got used to it pretty fast. Thankfully it is Velcro to close it on the arm. The gloves have a curved form where you fist fits perfectly into the correct position and sit well above the wrist. Also there is a loop to keep the thumb snug against the rest of the hand to prevent injuries. I tried it out on the bag and it feels great and I was quite surprised that the gloves are not heavy at all. Now I can actually hit the bag with more force and no worry. I would highly recommend these gloves for anyone that wants a nice looking and high quality glove to use in your bag workout.

I have small hands, and my boyfriend has large hangs, and these gloves fit well on both of us. They are constructed very well, and I think will hold up to a very long time's use. They are padded very well, in that when you are punching something, you really don't feel a thing. I tried them out punching a wood doorway, and I didn't feel anything. I had my boyfriend hold up his hands, so I could punch them with the gloves, and he said they didn't hurt, although I didn't hit him that hard. I will be getting a heavy bag to use these with, and I am sure they will hold up fine. When punching with the gloves, they help to hold your wrist in the proper position, so you do not end up injuring yourself. The palm part of the glove is vented and covered with a vented netting type material. The thumb portion of the gloves is also vented, with holes in the The gloves have a velcro closure, so they are easy to put on and to take off. They are stitched very well, with most area's on the gloves being double stitched. The gloves are lined with a silky type of material. There are printed safety warnings in each of the gloves, but I think everyone pretty much knows that boxing is a contact sport, and that they should be careful. Even when practicing with a heavy bag, you still need to be careful, so that the bag does not swing back and hit you back. I use the gloves for stress relief boxing, but also in trying to stay in shape. I really like the gloves, and they have encouraged me to be a bit more active than I have been lately.

I have been practicing kickboxing for a few years now, and have contemplated a little boxing for a little more of a contact sport and a different training style. I could also use these in my kickboxing routine just for something a little different; plus, each glove would add a tiny bit of weight to each arm. I chose these gloves because of the wrist support, which should help protect the wrist during impact with the bag – and they do exactly that. On the top side of the wrist, it is quite rigid, which adds secure support during impact as well. Also, the palms are ventilated which help keep the gloves dry since if you work hard, you will definitely work up a good sweat. The sizing is explained as a size small/medium being for the youth or for someone with small female hands – that's me. However, the size that arrived is a size large/x-large, and they fit quite comfortably. I actually can't imagine a smaller size. I figured if I ordered them and they didn't fit, I would let my husband use them for his boxing routines, but this wasn't the case. The gloves are quite comfortable, and there is ample padding on the inside. Where your fingers insert, there is quite a bit of padding there as well, particularly where your fingers bend. The thumb also feels natural and well-protected. Sometimes the construction of these items have stray pieces of material or hard plastic inside (I see this in shoes often) that making using them unpleasant, but I didn't feel one single piece of stray material inside - just pure comfort! I thought the colors were a little funky at first, but I actually really like them! Overall, they look like they are very well-made, provide ample support and padding for excellent protection. I look forward to using them!!

These seem like high quality gloves. I like the attached, breathable thumbs. Very good wrist support. I got the L/XL (16 oz) size because even though I'm a smaller female I have biggish hands and large knuckles. They fit fine, but I think the S/M (12 oz) might have worked as well (my picture includes a size chart). My husband is 6'3" 200 lbs with average hands and they fit him well. They seem like they would work good for anything from a light workout to actual heavy bag work. They are very comfortable and have a quality feeling padding. They have good strong Velcro to adjust the wrist size, but I wish there was a way to adjust them closer to the hand. I don't spar or anything, but I tried these out on my kid's BOB mannequin. I can really see using these in my workout routine. Just putting them on makes me feel like shadow boxing. I'm going to have to get a speed bag now LOL

They arrive right away , it say it would take up too two weeks but they arrived in less then a week . The first thing I realize they are made out of very good material .The stiches are very well done. They are very thick . You don't have to worried about them ripping . I have been using them for weeks on a boxing sand bag and they still look new to me. They come with a good amount of sponge in them. The colors for this Bag Gloves are Pink/Lime. On the inside of the gloves it says best in boxing in small cursive writing. The top punching part says ring R side . On the adjust part of the gloves it also says ringside . On the glove by the thumb it does come with small breathing holes. The way it helps your hands stay fresh . This gloves are size L/XL I am a 29 year old female and they fit me just perfect. This gloves are perfect for boxing and kickboxing or just to have fun with them. On the side you can adjust the size to make the either tighter or loss them up . When using them they are very light weight . To me as a female they are perfect . I really love them. When you hit with them they don't bruise the other person up . To me they are perfect just to have fun with them or used them to train. The only reason I gave it a four star its because I really didn't like the color that much . It looks to bright for me . I think is a nice color for teens . Other then that they are perfect for me very easy to box with . I do recommend this to everyone . You wont regret your purchase .

these are very nice boxing gloves for maybe someone just starting out. good beginner gloves. the only thing I noticed about these is the sizes seem to run small. I got a size L/XL and my hands aren't that big I would say medium to average as far as woman's hands sizes go. So get a large unless you have really small hands. but the weight seems nice not very heavy at all but they still feel solid. good gloves overall.

Ringside Fitness (Apex) Bag Gloves. These are synthetic leather 10 OZ gloves. The L/XL gloves are equivalent to a mens size 10. They are a bright hot pink and lime green color. Part of the palm is a ventilated mesh for cooling. In addition , the inside of the thumbs have five holes for cooling. Most of the glove is double stitched except the large hook and look wrist closure which is single stitched. The width and stiffness of the closure offers very good wrist support. The IMF ( injection molded foam) padding offers good knuckle protection.
