These are great, They have forms to keep their shape across the wrist and along the side, but you are still able to flex your fist and get some clenching ability. They are well padded in the striking area. The velcro is a long wide strip so that you can easily adjust them to the snugness that you want and it is sewn on so I don't see it pulling apart very easily. I like the black and pink, they are tough and feminine! There are air vents in the palm, so you maintain your glove stability. They go high enough on the wrist and arm to provide support, but you may still want to wrap. I do. The width of the glove makes you have to have a wider hit pass on the speed bag or they hit each other, I tend to hit the speed bag with my hands more sideways so that isn't problematic for me. They do have a strong smell of plastic (think new shower curtain) when they first come out of the box, but that is waning already. I really like these gloves.

I chose this Ringside Pro Style Training Glove because I want to start kickboxing as a workout. I have larger hands for a female so I chose this L/LX size. When it first arrived I thought it was going to be too large for my hands because they look humongous. However, when I slipped them on, it fitted just right. They are true to size. It is very comfortable and my hands do not sweat inside of them. The padding is really thick and that should add extra protection for your hands. I also like the wrap that goes around your wrist to keep the glove secure. You can adjust it to your comfort level. The color is nice and it doesn't look too girly. I would recommend this Ringside Pro Style Training Glove to any woman interested in training for boxing.

This is a good product. My husband and I will be using this product on a daily basis. We will be using it for exercise. We will work on losing my arms and weight. For 3 wedding we have to go to. This year. I will recommend this product to anyone.

I purchased some gloves some time ago for practice/kick boxing. And I must saw I love these gloves much better. I have big hands so it's often times difficult to find something that don't fit comfortably. However, I love these, the impact when punching is not like some gloves where you don't feel the cushion, with these you can feel it and it protects your hands on impact.

Let me start by saying that the ringside pro style boxing gloves could definitely do some damage. They are large and 16oz. I had some gently punch me in the arm and these glove actually hurt, so they are definitely what you need if you want to do some damage either in the ring on the bag. I love the colors of these gloves the black, pink and white are all rich in color and has me looking stylish while I work out in these. I tested my gloves out in two ways, I wore them while I did a kickboxing video because I wanted the extra weight on my hands for a better workout, plus with the gloves on you feel even more like a professional when you are doing the moves. They did make a difference in my workout as the added 1lb weight created more resistance and made me work harder while punching. The other way I used these gloves was when I hit my punching bag and again the heavier gloves gives a better work out and do a great job of protecting your hands (of course I was wearing wraps as well). Another thing about these gloves is the size, at first I thought they were huge but realized that pro gloves are supposed to be bigger, I compared these to my Everlast boxing gloves who are supposed to be the same size L/XL and the Everlast are quite smaller, so these Ringside gloves are of very good quality and they are definitely pro style. Overall, I would recommend the Ringside L/XL Pro Style gloves to anyone they are a great buy and will not disappoint. I have three pairs of boxing gloves and these are my favorite.

I really do like these gloves. They are huge but hey do the job well. That lovely brand new smell indicates that the item was never used and I like the way the fit and feel on my hands.While I'm boxing, the gloves stay on my hands during the activity and don't fall or slip off. This is the best choice of boxing gloves I could have chosen and I'm glad I did. Although, there were different colors, pink is the one I enjoy the most. Plus, the material doesn't effect my skin at all. I am glad about my decision for these gloves.

I really liked these gloves--more than I thought I would. They are such fun. My daughter and her fella are into workouts and training. So is my granddaughter and her guy. They had all been wanting a set of these. Of course, the down side is that I am now going to have to buy several additional sets of training gloves since my immediate family all wants a pair. I was surprised at how firm yet comfortable they were. And they're pretty. They make a gal feel pretty powerful (pun intended). I should know. I tried them on and looked at them on my hand. Impressive. And even I got in a few jabs at the couch pillows. My kids have a gym set up in the garage, punching bag and all. I was so excited about the gloves, I considered going out there and whacking the bag for a few minutes, but it was too cold. I would love to have had a set of these when I was younger. My husband and kids would have liked them, too. We weren't into exercise. But we played a lot with our children. In fact, I think we were just big kids ourselves. I'm going to enjoy these.

I am not a boxer, nor do I work out much, but I thought these gloves would be so much fun for the family to engage with each-other. I go the Ringside Pro Style Training Gloves in a size XL to accommodate even my husbands large hands, and they are very spacious. If I were to get a pair for myself only I would have went down a size for a tighter, more secure fit. They are great to use never-the-less, and my whole family enjoys boxing it out with these gloves. They have more heavy, harder padding than the striker ones do. I love how they come in so many different colors, and these black and pink ones that I got are girly yet have enough black that even a man wouldn't be embarrassed being caught using them. They have a nice thick wrist wrap with adjustable Velcro strap that has a hard protective insert in them to keep your wrist protected from bending. Padding thick enough that you can hardly feel the item your punching, cant say the same about the item not feeling the glove though! They also have a complete sewn in webbed area in between the thumb pocket and the rest of the glove to keep your thumb protected and close to the rest of your hand. Tough enough to wear in the ring yet light enough to have fun with the whole family. Next we will have to get a punching bag and give these gloves a good workout!

Delivery was awful, I am lucky I have an elderly man as a neighbor who finally realized/brought me my package. Even if delivery wasn't awful and I didn't wait an extra 5 days for my package, the stitching is frayed/splitting in at least 5 places on one glove. I'm scared to even try to break them in and risk not being able to return them if they turn out to in total be absolute crap. Do not waste your money, go with everlast or another reputable brand
