First of all, the picture shows the gloves are pink with white. The ones I got are black with pink/white. I guess it's ok. These are size L/XL and they fit me a bit loose. I was not looking to do any real boxing or anything. This is mostly for the arm exercises. I've seen some women use weights, some use weighted wrist bands, and some use gloves. I wanted something that was comfortable but didn't weigh too much. In that sense, these gloves are perfect. Because I'm not hitting anything, it really doesn't matter that they are a little loose. My grip is not very strong, and the gloves just stay in place throughout the workout. What I don't like is that they get pretty hot and my hands start sweating very fast. I am surprised that after a few workouts, they still don't smell. The holes on the palm area air them out pretty good. The Velcro is good quality and still holding on strong. Some of the stitches have loose ends, but doesn't seem to be causing any problems. I would recommend them to others interested in these gloves.
These gloves exceeded my expectations. They are more like professional boxing gloves and they do wonders to protect your hands when boxing. I did have to have help putting the gloves on because they are stiff and that made it difficult to put the second glove on. But that was not a bad thing to me. The stiffness protects your hands by forcing your fingers in the right position. Without it you could run the risk of breaking your hands or fingers. All in all these are amazing gloves.
I am in love with this Ladies training glove by the company RIDER STRIKER it is not only light-weight it has breathable material,I do not about you,as I work -out I tend to sweat and with this great material within the glove the sweat and the smell factor that comes along with it,is almost banished:) There really is nothing I did not like about this Training glove,it also has velcro for easy placing and taking off these beautifult designed gloves, they are quote attractive, don't you thinki use them as part of my work-outs in my upper body and they really have proven be to be a great asset,I have posted a link which will show you how I have incorporated them into my work-oiys:) I recommend this product,I received this product free for my honest feedback all opinions are of my own as a member of the Wal0Marts Spark review Program:)
These Ringside Striker Training Gloves - Pink/White, Size large/extra large are awesome! The padding is extremely thick so it absorbs the shock easily when striking pads or a boxing bag. It is a great form of exercise no matter what your age. The outside of the gloves are made of one hundred percent synthetic leather (however, they are stitched really well). There is a wrap-around wrist strap with Velcro closure (which, again wraps very easily and tightly around the wrist, not too tight, but tight enough you don't have to worry about them falling off). The gloves are pre-curved allowing the hand compartment to provide a comfortable natural fit (and they do fit beautifully and naturally). The manufacturer recommends using handwraps and if I was fighting someone else I probably would, but I punch pillows, although I did try a punching bag and my personal trainer had the hand pads, I punched, but I am not in training to be a boxer, it is just some fun and different exercise and is a great stress reliever. The price is extremely reasonable and I have actually seen the same type of gloves advertised elsewhere for more than three times the price I was given in the package my gloves came in. They come in black, blue, red, white and pink. They come in two sizes S/M for approximately up to 5'8" and less than 100 pounds or L/XL up to 5'8" and over 150 pounds. This is a great product and is a great exercise if you are looking for something new and the best stress reliever I have come across.
So I decided to take up boxing to rev up my fitness routine. I am a complete novice. I tried on these gloves and was impressed at how light they were, while still being firm enough to protect my hands and deliver a solid punch. My wrists are tiny so even though I tightrned the velcro wrist strap as far as it would go, there was still enough space between my wrist and the glove that I could pull the glove off completely without unfastening the velcro straps. My trainer used tape to secure the gloves to my wrists, so there was no problem there, besides the extra time it took to do so. A smaller size would have been perfect. About 16 ounces. These gloves are perfect for a good workout. It does not weigh the arms down. My fingers feel fine inside the glove. Easy and secure grip on the inside to hold the glove in place. Great color. Not too showy. The gloves are great for training. Both females and males can use them. They certainly get the job done as far as getting a great workout and protecting your fingers and hands. I would recomnend them to everyone. Thank you Walmart Sparkreviewer program for allowing me to try this in exchange for my honest review.
These gloves are fantastic. They're light-weight and is made up of comfortable / breathable materials. The velcro is easily placed and has been a great add to my workout routine. I recommend the product and really have no areas for improvement. They're gloves that do what they're supposed to do. :-)
The Ringside Striker Training Gloves have worked out perfect. My son also has boxing gloves and I thought it would be fun to play box with him to get some active movement going in the house during the winter months. I also enjoy doing punches and jabs for an upper body workout. When the Ringside Striker gloves arrived, I tried them on right away. Immediately after putting them on I felt the urge to get my body moving. I'm 5'6 and have thin hands and wrists and the L/XL fits right. The wrap around the wrist velcro straps tighten just right to give a secure fit. Inside the glove my hand has enough breathing room and the thick padding system does protect the hands when punching pillows, another person, and a punching bag. For me, I even enjoy wearing them when doing a kickboxing workout in front of the television. Putting the gloves on adds a bit of weight to your arms and makes you feel a bit empowered, which is always a good feeling when getting through an intense workout routine. Another nice feature is the styling and fabric. The stylish glove design and pink color looks good and the leather-like material seems well made and I'm guessing will hold up through many uses. Overall, I'm glad I gave them a try because they are a nice addition to my exercise gear. Plus, when I get around to joining a boxing/kickboxing class I'll be set to go.
I received these boxing gloves as a part of the Walmart Spark reviewer program. My wife was looking to pick up boxing as a hobby and these gloves are great. She has never boxed before but she says the gloves are comfortable. Initially, they were a little hard to slide your hands into but after you continuously use and breaking them in they slip on fairly easily. The big perc is that the gloves have significantly more padding then normal gloves. This is absolutely true and can be felt when punching the heavy bags. She says the force is dissipated quite nicely allowing for her to use the heavy bags a little longer than other "first timers" thereby reducing wrist soreness. On the other hand, using the gloves with the speed bag she says is a little difficult because it is a little difficult to adjust the strength for each punch to continue the back and forth movement of the speed bag. Essentially, it takes a little longer to get use to the speed bag in the gloves but that is not a big deal. Overall, these gloves are great. My wife likes the color (pink) but would have preferred a less bright color. She has bee nat the boxing class for awhile now and has not injured or hurt anything. Good gloves.
The Ringside Pro Style Training Gloves seem to be good work-out gloves. As a bonus, they are so cute! I got the black/pink color and they are just adorable (for boxing gloves haha). They are very feminine, which is nice with a stronger work-out like boxing. I got the L/XL size but surprisingly they fit well. I would say they actually fit great and I have regular sized hands, 6 ring size on my ring finger, but these fit really nicely. They feel really comfortable as well. They aren't too stiff which is great and I am sure they will soften up at least a little bit with more use. They are flexible enough to move your fingers towards your palm. I like the fact that the wrist part has a Velcro wrap which helps size your arm as needed. I would say I have a smaller arm, not petite but not overweight, and it fits tight once I resize the strap. There is plenty of room for a larger arm too. The Velcro has a very strong hold as well. When you punch with these gloves you do feel a little pressure on your hand, but it is protected. It will take time for your hands to get used to the contact if you've never worked out/boxed with gloves.
I received the Ringside Striker Training Gloves - Pink/White, Size: L/XL a few weeks ago and I love what they have added to my workout routine. I never would have thought to wear gloves during my body combat class, they add extra weight when I jab and cross. I can feel the extra effort it puts into my workout. I don't normally wrap my hands to wear the gloves for a workout, that would take too much time before class and I am not hitting anything, but I do recommend wrapping your hands when training with the gloves and physically hitting something. There is a lot of room in them so you don't want your knuckles raw at the end of your workout. The Ringside Striker Training Gloves weigh two full pounds (the large/extra large). I love my black, white, and hot pink Ringside Striker Training Gloves they are girly enough that they look tough but my husband won't touch them. He is even asking for his own pair to train with. The gloves are reasonably priced enough that I am thinking about getting him his own pair. I am very happy with these training gloves and will continue to use these in my regular workout routine.
