Easy to use. Brush oil on plates as nonstick spray goes everywhere. I used room temperature ingredients , put on the oiled bottom plate, closed lid and when the steaming stopped the chaffle was perfectly done. I did put the baker on a hot pad to protect the counter in case the baker got too hot.

I was skeptical of all the 5 star reviews since it was so little and cheap but my oh my…. This waffle maker is LEGIT! It’s completely non stick, heats up fast, and is well made. Unbelievable! I’m a believer now!

I love the square shape. I follow a keto/low carb diet and make a lot with the mini waffle maker. When I’m making a sandwich - I make my bread using the dash. The square shape is a better shape for sandwiches. ❤️

Wish there was a light to show when hot/ready. Otherwise works very well.

I loved it. It doesn't stick, just make sure it gets very hot before pouring batter. It did take a while to make them for my family of 5. at home i rather use my large waffle maker but it's so small for traveling and it only took 2 minutes to cook each waffle when my large waffle maker takes 3.5 minutes. I recommend for traveling or if you live alone or for just a couple.

I just knew the quality of this waffle maker would be absolutely terrible when I ordered it because it looks like a *toy*.....100% NOVELTY. But because we're practicing hardcore portion control and it was barely $11 bucks, I couldn't pass on it. I WAS SO WRONG ABOUT THIS APPLIANCE. This thing is solid with real weight to it and attention to detail in the design. First of all, it looks nothing like a toy when you actually have it in front of you. Being that it's so tiny, the "grippy feet" prevent it from sliding all over the counter while you're using it. The handle stays cooler and is easy to use. The waffle plates are, again, SOLID with a high-quality non-stick finish....and I would know this is excellent quality as I've owned my share of thinly-coated, eventually-flaking, nonstick items. But *DO* follow their recommendation of lightly greasing both grill surfaces before adding your food. The buttermilk waffles we made cooked and browned evenly on both sides....NO hot spots. This little waffle maker is an excellent value with an extremely high return on your $11 investment---I whole-heartedly recommend it! : )

This is an amazing little tool for the kitchen. I used it several times a week. You can use mashed potatoes to make potato pancakes. I love it!

This is a cute mini waffle maker. I got it to make low carb chaffles. It works great, except I do wish it would get the waffles a bit browner. Not sure if that's because of my ingredients or because the waffle maker just doesn't get quite hot enough. It cooks it through but takes about 4 minutes to do one.

I do not recommend if you have the other dash mini makers. In general this is a cheaper version that seems inferior. I instantly noticed the box was much smaller before even opening. After opening I observed thee surface area is slightly smaller, there is no indicator light, and the wattage is less. Also there is no recipe book included, just a QR code to scan and very few recipes on the site. At this point I decided not to bother with testing. If you've not used the original Dash minis then you might like this line. I will be returning and sticking to the original dash mini makers as they can typically be purchased on sale or with coupons for about the same price.

I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, however, this waffle iron did not meet my expectations one percent! On the first time, use the batter completely stuck to the irons! I carefully used oil spray on the iron and there was plenty of oil in the batter.
