I LOVE Ritter Sport Dark Chocolate with Marzipan! Dark chocolate and marzipan are two of my favorite flavors for sweets, and this candy is *perfect*! I'm so glad that Walmart stocks it because I haven't seen it elsewhere. I first bought it on impulse and now I cannot be without it!! Thanks!! :)

Ok so I'm a big fan of marzipan and dark chocolate. I usually buy big boxes of this symbiotic relationship from a well known chocolate store, but unfortunately my recent move has taken that access away from me. Until now. I was skeptical, I only bought one bar to see if I liked it. I regretted the cautious choice the moment my pállate made contact with the magical substance. Needless to say, I didn't save portions for later, and probably would have eaten multiple bars then and there if I had purchased more. I will be stocking up tomorrow!

Delicious marzipan and dark chocolate snacking bar, Ritter Sport is always a reliable brand, especially if you can locate it in your favorite Walmart grocery. This might be a seasonal (Christmas?)item. Wish I'd have purchased several more for stockings.

This is just what you get in Germany. The milk chocolate is smooth although I wish dark chocolate was an option. The marzipan has a deep almond flavor. It is a thick layer. The bar is easy to break so I can have smaller pieces over time. Pay attention to how to open because it's not difficult (before opening, bend/break bar at seam). You have to like marzipan to enjoy this bar. I love it and I keep buying more. I even had them at my Oktoberfest party.

My mother was German, and every Christmas, my grandparents sent us special Chriistmas candy from Germany. Among that candy was bittersweet chocolate covered marzipan (in a log shape) which I loved. Ritter Sport Dark Chocolate with Marzipan reminds me of that. Smooth, creamy dark chocolate coating a generous square of sweet/bitter almond marzipan. If you like both those things, you will like this. It's a bit on the pricey side... I love that Walmart carries this and so far, I've been able to purchase it all year since finding it.

I buy these for my husband. He loves the brand - especially the chocolate and marzipan and the chocolate with hazelnuts. They always arrive in good condition and are fresh.

I discovered these in Germany many moons ago. You should try them. People generally love marzipan or don't so buy one and see how you like it first. Wallyworld's are nice and fresh so you'll have a good sampling. They contain hazel nut, which has some potassium but not a massive amount but kidney patients should always make sure it's okay for them to eat.

Too sweet and too much almond flavor. If you're looking for extremes of both, then this is for you!
