Rivals for Catan Strategy Card Game for ages 10 and up, from Asmodee

My wife and I are retired and we started playing this daily when COVID started we wore out the 3 previous sets, this is our fourth. So yes, I recommend the game

My family is slightly board-game competitive, and so we write our name and date of victory when we win the game on the box to keep track of who is the Real Winner. By doing this, we realized we have played this more than 50 times in the last 3 years and, given a good cup of coffee and an hour to hour and a half of free time, we would play with you! It is the perfect balance of logic, skill and chance, with changes from the other player's circumstances (and yours!) happening every round to keep you on your toes and keep you at the edge of your seat. We can't recommend enough!

I did not grow up playing board games. Honestly, at times I get frustrated with too many rules that hinder game play. I have to happily report that while the initial basic games were slower as we read carefully through the rule book. I am excited to start incorporating the included expansion cards for added interest ☺️ I really like that there's so many options within the one game to expand and that it can be played with just 2 players.

Settler of Catan is my fave board game so I've been wanting to play this edition. It was perfect for 2 people. Still requires strategy, planning, and thinking ahead so none of that was lost.

A better version of Catan if there are 2 players. It does not match the fun of Catan with 4 players, but better than playing regular Settlers of Catan if there are only 2 of you.

It might take a little practice to get it down. After learning it is very fan! I wpuld recommend 13 or older only because youger might nit enjoy it so much.

Was surprised at how much depth this game has for just two players. It takes some time to learn, but once you get the hang of it, the mix of strategy and luck keeps it exciting. Amazing delivery by Walmart

Perfect game for my family white elephant exchange, I can't wait to play with my husband in the evenings. Love that it's a 2 player option since we can't play the normal game very often with young children.

I have been playing catan for years now. Never gets bored. Never a dull moment while playing. I bought this to gift someone and they absolutely love it.

Game is a gift which I'm sure they will enjoy, however the pickup of this item was pretty bad. Long wait time and weird associate that brought it to my car.
