This bookcase was just as I expected for the value. It's solid. Looks exactly as advertised and was easy to assemble. I am using it for our soon to be born baby daughter's nursery. Perfect fit.

Walmart has it listed as being 40" tall but it is only 28"!!! Great quality & very pretty but had to return because it wasn't the size I wanted/needed. Did not realize it until I put it together. Wish it came in a bigger size :(

Looks pretty with a cottage feel- not sterile. Just the right height for TV. Holds more than I thought it would.

I bought two of these and I was able to put one together no problem at 9 months pregnant! I think the factory specs were off on the second one as it didn't quite fit together. After my husband made some adjustments, it went together no problem. I didn't mind though since it is a pretty nice looking shelf for the price once it's assembled. We use them as book shelves in our nursery and they work great!

This is a very good shelf, and the price is amazing.

Pros: Looks nice and seems pretty sturdy. Lots of room for books. Cons: Those very large look and find toddler books will not fit straight up in the shelves. They will have to lean sideways to fit in there.

Even though this shelf is pretty and looks like a nice new edition to our daughters room I'm extremely disappointed in the quality for the price we paid. The bottom/front piece is extremely flimsy and if you hit it, touch it or bump it there is a chance of it falling off. The back piece doesn't fit correctly so when we screwed it on it screwed into the underside of the shelves and cracked the wood, thankfully this is the underside therefore nobody will see it. I'm sure if we tried to return it we wouldn't be able to because we technically damaged it putting it together, not sure it matters that the pieces weren't cut correctly. To make a long story short we kept it because it is pretty and figured it wasn't worth the haste to try and return.

We purchased this bookshelf for our children's playroom and were disappointed when we received a much smaller shelf than was advertised in the description. The size listed on the outside of the box is accurate (28lx11.5wx33.7h), but not what we were told we were ordering. The shelf did seem sturdy and well made just not the size that we thought we were led to believe we were getting.

The package arrived previously opened. Once home discovered one piece missing. Per pamphlet I emailed customer service..that was 4 days ago and no one has replied. Will have to return to Walmart for a refund. Not happy.
