Grandson very excited.
I thought it was a really cool dinosaur and the slime egg with a little critter in it was really awesome too, my child got spiders in his. I like how no matter where he set the dinosaur down it still would walk as some of the walking ones don't work well. Wether he was on his bed, on the rug, or outside it walked just fine. I do wish it would of came with a remote with it just for the constant roaring. But overall it is a great toy and my child loves it. I would definitely recommend this.
I got this product in exchange for an honest review, I am glad I got to test this. My son was scared initially, but after getting to know Dino. He is just playing with that toy and forgot all the other toys. It works as expected, makes lively sounds, and moves the jaw. Lol, my son feeds his dino whenever he opens his mouth wide
The Dino alive was a huge hit with my dinosaur living kids. They loved that he walked and made noises, the glow in the dark stripes was a nice surprise for them too! The dinosaur came with slime that had two little bugs in it and my son says One disappeared inside the dinosaur, could not find it anywhere so I'm assuming it as meant for food. We really liked the roaring, adds a nice touch for the kids to use their imagination while playing. Overall my 3 boys loved the dinosaur and wants me to try and get the rest of the line.
You need two AAA batteries for it to work, once you get the batteries in and it is turned on it starts walk and moving it mouth while also making dinosaurs roars and noises. It's all hard plastic except for his soft rubber arms. The eyes are like a marble and real looking. It walks in a straight line but will move around a chair. That was really cool to see. Like it was walking by the chair on the side and then once it got to the back it curves and walks along the back of the chair. My 3 year old son and 7 year old son started playing with it without the batteries and it became more fun with the batteries in. So we highly recommend this T. rex dino and hope to find other Dino's to play with.
We enjoyed this toy a lot!! My son was very excited to see how the dino worked because the box said it could walk, roar, and bite. it did not disappoint. With the biting part i did have to open its mouth for it to work but it was fine after that. This dino also came with an egg that had glo in the dark slime my son loved that part plus as a bonus there was surprises in the slime. I recommend for any dino lovers!!
This Robo Alive T-Rex is a very cute toy. I love the rawrs, and the fact that it walks. A live dinosaur that you can actually have attack your other toys (or your brother, like we did!). My older kids (9 and 13) did enjoy it and they had a lot of fun, but it wasn't something that they would play for long periods of time. It would hold more interest to infants and toddlers, or dinosaur collectors. I feel like babies and younger kids would love to follow it around and even take it places. It really is super cute!!
This was very fun for dinosaur enthusiasts but it does not have to include the slime . You will want to control use of the slime.
Fun little toy, very geared towards the younger ages but I can see my 10 year old incorporating this dino into his play. I think the movement could be a bit better as he tends to veer left as he goes. Takes 2 AAA batteries, we'll see how long until they need replaced. We played with it for about 20 minutes and it was still going!
My 4 year old loves this. It doesn't fall over while it walks, and the slime is a great additive. He especially enjoys the noises it makes, very ferocious. We do wish it walked in a bigger area, rather than in a small speckle. Overall, I think it's a great toy for young kids.
