Grandson very excited.
The quality of the toy is top notch. The sound is realistic. The color is attractive. The dino walks and moves its mouth which makes it more worth. The slime is fun to use but the egg don't have a cover which makes it difficult to store the slime. Definitely a good toy to gift the kids. The design is an absolute wonder.
The Dino alive was a huge hit with my dinosaur living kids. They loved that he walked and made noises, the glow in the dark stripes was a nice surprise for them too! The dinosaur came with slime that had two little bugs in it and my son says One disappeared inside the dinosaur, could not find it anywhere so I'm assuming it as meant for food. We really liked the roaring, adds a nice touch for the kids to use their imagination while playing. Overall my 3 boys loved the dinosaur and wants me to try and get the rest of the line.
I got this product in exchange for an honest review, I am glad I got to test this. My son was scared initially, but after getting to know Dino. He is just playing with that toy and forgot all the other toys. It works as expected, makes lively sounds, and moves the jaw. Lol, my son feeds his dino whenever he opens his mouth wide
My 4 year old absolutely loves his Robo Alive - Attacking T-Rex Battery-Powered Robotic Toy (Green/Grey) Electronic Pet!!! He has a big obsession with dinosaurs and playing pretend with them. With this new T-Rex, the toy does the attacking for him and he gets a huge kick out of it! This works on our hardwork floor and even our rugs. It is hard to get him to play with any other toy right now - he just loves how realistic this dinorsaur is. Even better is the surprise slime that comes with it! Would highly recommend for kids ages 3-10!
You need two AAA batteries for it to work, once you get the batteries in and it is turned on it starts walk and moving it mouth while also making dinosaurs roars and noises. It's all hard plastic except for his soft rubber arms. The eyes are like a marble and real looking. It walks in a straight line but will move around a chair. That was really cool to see. Like it was walking by the chair on the side and then once it got to the back it curves and walks along the back of the chair. My 3 year old son and 7 year old son started playing with it without the batteries and it became more fun with the batteries in. So we highly recommend this T. rex dino and hope to find other Dino's to play with.
I thought it was a really cool dinosaur and the slime egg with a little critter in it was really awesome too, my child got spiders in his. I like how no matter where he set the dinosaur down it still would walk as some of the walking ones don't work well. Wether he was on his bed, on the rug, or outside it walked just fine. I do wish it would of came with a remote with it just for the constant roaring. But overall it is a great toy and my child loves it. I would definitely recommend this.
This was very fun for dinosaur enthusiasts but it does not have to include the slime . You will want to control use of the slime.
Walks a little funny, doesn't walk straight, kind of turns itself slowly. Pretty good for smaller kids, because even if they go to put the hands of fingers in the dinos mouth, it doesn't bite that hard. It's not too terribly loud, but after awhile will be annoying.
Fun little toy, very geared towards the younger ages but I can see my 10 year old incorporating this dino into his play. I think the movement could be a bit better as he tends to veer left as he goes. Takes 2 AAA batteries, we'll see how long until they need replaced. We played with it for about 20 minutes and it was still going!
