This is one of many gifts I bought for my nephew. He loves dinosaurs right now. He loves learning about him reading about him. The sounds. Interacting with them he thinks the Rory is great as far as batteries and that lifespan. I'm not sure they're fairly new to him.

Roaring Good Time
Decent toy. My child seems to enjoy playing with it. The issues I have with the toy, is that it can be quite difficult to pull down the tail to get the toy to roar. You definitely need two hands to do so. I also would make a suggestion, to add glowing lights or make it so the front and hind legs can move. Right now the only function, it has is that it roars.
