Robo Alive Great White Shark Series 1 Electronic Robot Light Up Bath Toy, Water Activated by ZURU

Got my son this for Christmas. He didn't have that many bath toys. It's super cool, as soon as it hits the water it activates and starts moving. He plays with it every night. The only downside to the toy is there's no on and off switch so depending on how much it's used you may have to take batteries in and out to preserve them.

Kid loves it! Moves around the water like a real shark. Eyes light up red. Turns off after 5 minutes and you just have to take it out of the water for a few seconds and set it back into the water to for it to turn back on again. And you just turn it upside down and tail down to drain the water out of him. Tail is able to come off/snap off for easy cleaning. Super easy. Great gift idea. Works great in the bath or a big pool.

The Robo Alive Great White Shark is way bigger than I expected, which was a fun surprise. It's really cool to watch, but unless you have a large tub, it doesn't swim very well. It would probably work better in a pool. Also, it's eyes glow red. Still, the movements are lifelike and my kid loves it. Fun, impressive, just a bit tricky to use in smaller spaces.

the tail falls apart constantly, so that's annoying. it doesn't really swim well in water. my boys are obsessed with sharks right now, so they love it. I just hate fixing it every 5 seconds. Definitely could have been made better, but hey, it's pretty cheap.

My grandson loves it, however I gave 4 stars because it seems a little fragile. If you have a kid that's rough it's probably not a good gift but if the child understands not being rough with the toy it will probably last a while. It really meant to just watch, not play rough with.

I feel a little conflicted about this one. My son was really excited about it at first, and the design, sounds, and light-up features are actually pretty cool. It definitely has some fun elements that grabbed his attention right away. However, the main issue for me was that it didn't consistently function the way we expected in the water. About half the time it seemed like it wouldn't work properly until we took it out, which was a little frustrating especially since we've had other Robo Alive toys that swam really well. That said, it's not a bad toy. I'd still recommend it, just with slightly adjusted expectations. It's fun for a bit, and I'd still consider it as a gift, even though my son didn't stay interested in it for very long.

Toy came with a broken tail that won't go back together as one of the prongs was broken off. This was a Christmas gift for my 6yr old son and now he can't/doesn't want to play with it as it was broken upon opening it. Tried to add the protection plan to get the issue resolved but the website and app wanted to charge me for my full previous order plus the price of the protection plan, I wasn't able to just purchase the protection plan. Wouldn't recommend, which is sad, my nephew got the same toy last year which was the reason for this purchase, my son loved his.

Super cheap product. Didnt last longer than 20 minutes without the entire tail falling off and then continuously falling off. It barely clips in place. It's a waste of money. Don't buy it.

Only worked for one bath. My daughter absolutely loved it. The second bath she had I put it in with her and it did not work. Changed the batteries and it still didn't work. She is extremely upset her new toy shark she got for Christmas doesn't work after just one use. :( she's blind and special needs so she doesn't understand why her shark isn't working anymore and she has cried for an hour straight so far about it.

Purchased this twice. Both we were unable to remove the screws to insert batteries. It's almost as if someone glued the screws in there. Only reason I purchased it twice was because we couldn't get the screws out the first one and just thought it was a defect. What a disappointment to my 3 year old who was so excited to play with them.
