AWESOME!! My Smart TV starting to “crap out” Apps aren't working right and when watching we would get disruptions. Also our remote wasnt taking voice commands. I wanted to buy a new TV so bad, and then got the Roku and we stream through that instead of the smart TV. WORKS GREAT AND WE NO LONGER HAVE ISSUES. Highly recommend.

One: Roku's interface is AMAZING compared to my TVs built in "Smart" function. Two: My old smart TV had lost the ability to connect to WiFi. Instead of throwing it away and getting a new one, this Roku stick gave me a faster and better interface. Love the "microphone" feature that allows me to bypass typing a lot in. Great installation experience and it is working like a champ.

A great streaming device! I use it everyday and it has a great picture on my 43 inch 4k tv. It can be laggy on the menus at times. But other than that it's a great streaming device and I'll definitely recommend it!

I purchased this Roku from Walmart for one simple reason: I needed access to MLB.TV. My Vizio Smart TV does not offer the MLB.TV app, so Roku was the easiest and most affordable solution. Setup was quick, and within minutes I had MLB.TV downloaded and running. Streaming live games has been smooth with no issues so far. The interface is simple, loads quickly, and makes it easy to jump straight into a game.

The Roku Streaming Stick works great, is super affordable, and easy to set up. I dinged a star because it has one of the most braindead feature designs I've ever seen: if you have unstable internet and it drops out, your Roku stick has a VERY bright light on the back that flashes like a disco party. If you have this in your bedroom and are sensitive to light, this will wake you up. Stupid, awful, thoughtless design. A small red NON flashing light would make more sense, but that would probably cost them a quarter of a peso more to produce and cut into their shareholder profits. Seriously, this is an idiotic feature. Otherwise, great product.

1) Vizio app allows a user to sign in, but No option to sigh out. 2) Vizio app does not include Viki Rakuten app, and there is no option for me to add the Viki Rakuten streaming app. 3) THe Remote control interfere with the power ON/Off of my other LG TV.

The thing didn't work. Before I connected the wireless, it went to a black screen/UN-responsive. I Reset , re-power and everything recommended but everything I tried failed. Roku online help is basically non-existent. They assume all Roku's don't fail. I finally got phone help and Shena(SP) said to return it to where I bought it( Walmart) and their return page isn't there. What a nightmare, time wasting product, both through Roku and Walmart.

I bought 3 of these Roku 3830RW sticks to use with my Tablo TV. Here is what I found out after trying to get the first one to work. This is from Tablo: The Roku 3830rw (Streaming Stick Plus) does not work with Tablo because the device lacks the necessary video decoding capabilities for over-the-air (OTA) channels, which are in an MPEG-2 format. While the Roku 3830rw can stream other services, it is incompatible with Tablo's broadcast video format, causing live or recorded OTA programs to fail playback, according to Tablo TV support. Why the Roku 3830rw is incompatible with Tablo Video codec incompatibility: The Roku 3830rw uses a different processor that is not compatible with the MPEG-2 video codec used by over-the-air broadcasts, which Tablo streams. The Tablo TV support page explains this is a key reason for the issue. Specific to OTA content: The incompatibility only affects Tablo's OTA content. Streaming services like Netflix, which use different formats, will still work on the device. Playback failure: When you try to play an OTA channel through the Tablo app on the Roku 3830rw, the playback will fail and return you to the channel guide.

I've used Roku streaming sticks for years and my older one worked very well, so I expected the new model to be at least as good. Unfortunately, this newer Roku stick has been extremely disappointing. Almost every day I have to reboot the device just to get closed captions working again. The captions randomly stop appearing, and the only fix is restarting the stick. That should not be necessary on a product like this. The interface also seems worse than before. When moving from one screen to another, buttons that should be there are often missing or not clickable, making it difficult or impossible to continue without backing out or restarting. The menus feel buggy and unreliable. In addition to those issues, I've run into many other glitches and strange behavior. Apps freeze, screens do not load correctly, and the whole device feels far less stable than the Roku sticks I used a few years ago. It is frustrating because Roku used to make simple, dependable streaming devices. This new version feels unfinished and much less reliable than the older models. I would not recommend it unless these bugs are fixed. 😕

Difficult to instal, directions were not forthcoming had to sign up for numerous add ons. Returned item next day. Years ago had a Roku system, no problems changed to upgrade. This new Roku system is not for me
