Pretreat your laundry or allow it to soak if you're using this on heavily soiled items. I bought it for a quick laundry item, the price is always great, but the stains don't come off without pretreating or soaking them. Even if they are somewhat light. Also, the residue it can leave behind is sticky if too much is used. If you have soft or hard water, you should adjust based on preference. This is easy to use based on the powder formula and for my family, we prefer this to other powder laundry detergents.

I’ve been on a never-ending quest to find a laundry soap that actually cleans my husband’s work clothes without smelling like a perfume factory exploded. His uniforms come home covered in grease and who-knows-what from the job site, and our old detergent just wasn't cutting it anymore. I purchased this Roma Heavy-Duty detergent hoping for something strong enough to tackle the grime but gentle enough for the rest of the family's stuff. First impressions: this jug is surprisingly compact for a heavy-duty product. I was expecting a massive bucket, but it's actually pretty space-efficient under the sink. The consistency is thinner than I'm used to—almost like water—so you really have to pay attention when pouring or you might accidentally use half the bottle on one load. I learned that lesson after some very sudsy laundry day one. The scent is mild and clean, which I actually appreciate. It fades after drying, so my clothes just smell like clean fabric rather than a candle. After about three weeks of use, I can confidently say the grease stains are coming out much better now. I do have to pre-treat the really bad spots, but that’s expected. For regular dirt and everyday wear, it does a solid job. I’m hoping the cleaning power holds up over time and the ingredients stay consistent. It’s always a bummer when you find a detergent that works, only for the formula to change six months later. So far, so good with this one.

Switched to this, with baking soda, zote flakes, the Ariel, and borax mixed mostly equal through out in a container! our clothes haven't been cleaner. and I have 4 men in the house that get down and greasy!

Smells great! Gets your whites white clothing really clean and bright without the annoying bleach smell, doesn’t leave that chalky residue that most pods leave behind, and a little goes a loooooooong way. Unless my laundry is gross and super filthy I use half of what they say to use. If I don’t I get itchy. The scent lasts, the cost is crazy affordable. I got this bag to take to the laundromat, (this bag is small) but I was surprised at the scent and how well it cleaned my clothing. This little bag should last me a month if I do 2 large loads a week but only use 1/2 cup per load. It’s super easy to use, put water in washing machine, add soap then add clothing. Super easy!!

I purchase these because theyre such a fantastic price and then i will buy powdered laundry detergent Gain and mix them together to stretch my detergent. the smell of this one is light enough where the gain is strong enough that you wouldnt ever even know it was mixed together and i get MUCH more detergent to use that smells great and cleans well. hack of a lower income single mom. i will buy a box of gain that is usually around 10 to 15 dollars and add 4 to 6 of these and youll need a container to mix all of that together but it works out great! give it a try if youre on a budget, it will last you a LONG time too! (you can also use Tide or whatever powdered detergent you prefer)

I really liked how it removed stains perfectly and smelled good for a long-lasting period. It was perfect for sensitive skin. It somewhat dissolved fast.
