Many years ago I was looking for a chili recipe on the internet. The one I found recommended using 1 can of rotel chili fixins. I've used it ever since. The beauty of it is that it adds all the flavors and necessary spices that make chili ...chili. It eliminates all the fuss and work of shopping for extra ingredients and makes your chili taste like authentic chili. And I believe it's made from good ingredients. Overall, I would rate it very highly and plan on continuing to use it. I highly recommend it.
The Rotel chili Fixins have been one of my best finds, my pantry is filled with this little gem, loaded with all the flavors %26 spice that is needed for my goulash chili dish. If you like hot or hotter then you use a can of the habanero Rotel. This can give you the consistency every single time you make your recipe. No need to add extra spices! My recipe will make a 3 quart pot of deliciousness. One medium diced onion, with a half a pound of cooked ground meat, one can of chili fixing Rotel, one can of spicy chili fixing beans, 1 11oz can V8. One can diced tomatoes in tomato juice the 14.5 oz can. I add two tablespoons of chia seeds that gives my husband extra fiber and extra protein he's a cancer patient. I now boil one cup of macaroni pasta in a 1 qt pot with two cups of water salted. I cook it for 5 minutes turn my pot off add two tablespoons of tomato paste from a tube into the water with the macaroni, I add half of that can of V8 juice to my macaroni to cool it down and stop cooking it. I now add it to my chilixture it's amazing enjoy it try it you just might like it we love it!
I love this Ro-Tell and I use it on my Chili when I do it in the crock pot and i DON'T HAVE TO add any spicy seasoning to it, just this will give the Chili a small kick. I also use it when I make cheese and sausage dip. Cook the sausage drop it in the crocl pot pour this can of Ro-Tell and a block of Velveeta, let it simmer and cring to the table. Delicious!! try it!
Perfect combo for your chili and is also great for a cheese dip!
This is the only Rotel I buy . I put it in everything. It's a thicker rotel
I haven't used this in home made chili yet, but it is fantastic in canned chili.
Favorite ingredient for my chili. Wish it was still sold in stores, but happy I was able to purchase by the case.
I love to use this in all my Mexican recy
Would not recommend buying from this seller. 3 out of 12 cans were NOT dented. The other 9 looked as if they'd been thrown across a street, many dented midway down and all the way across the can. As for the Rotel Chili Fixins, if one can purchase them at the store or without having to be shipped, they're 5 stars and a much loved and necessary ingredient in my family's chili. Hoping it isn't being phased out because I don't want to go back to using the regular Rotel.
All cans had been dented extremely bad , not a few all of them , Walmart refunded , thank you Walmart So bad had to throw all away …
