Rowenta Irons are the best clothing iron!

Maria July 1, 2025

Just what I needed an iron that doesn't need time to warm up!Ive had them all and only Rowenta works as well! The water door came loose after 3 years of hard work.

This Rowenta model is all you want from the quality Rowenta designs. I have purchased the more expensive models... this is a third $ less and works as a powerhouse. AND... this is my 2nd purchased of this model 3 years later - I sew and iron just about everyday. Three years of heavy use for price is worth it.

Great iron with a lot of steam power with stainless steal bottom glides easy . I'd recommend useing it on setting for the garment or other clothes and covers . It's great quality . It uses alot of water depending on how much steam you use and which setting you use. I used the cotton / linen setting and it worked wonderful . Read directions on it first and let it heat up. It's heated I believe when light either turns off or on . Sorry I've used it twice but forgot . I'd also teach my grandkids how to use and which setting for what material as well. Esp to turn tshirts inside out before ironing . Otherwise you will have a big mess with plastic melted all over it . I scorched mine ironing too high and I got it clean with a pink scratchless sponge and a damp clean rag 😁

Smooth as Silk, Blind as a Bat

geraldine June 11, 2026

This iron is really good. The heat is excellent, the glide is very smooth and the tip gets into very small crevices. The only issue I have is that you cannot see the water level due to the dark covering over the water basin. I am always guesstimating when filling up or wondering when I need a fill up of water.

Its OK

Elizabeth June 30, 2026

This is not a Walmart issue...its an issue with Rowenta...I have used various versions of their irons for years...(I sew). The steam is not consistent on this version (not so on other versions)...you have to "pulse" it to get out difficult wrinkles. I have to keep a flashlight near the ironing board...so I can read the water level...this has been an ongoing complaint with Rowenta over many years...yet, they continue to use dark plastic for the water fill chamber. Having said all that, unless you are using a commercial presser, Rowenta is the best brand out there. If you are only a casual presser, one of the less expensive irons will be sufficient.

Iron Review

Michelle September 7, 2025

The settings are very hard to adjust especially for the temp. And the material you are ironing. Iron sticks to your clothing and makes burn marks. The bottom also gets burn spots on it and very hard to clean!

Disappointed!

Cynthia May 22, 2026

I'm very disappointed in this Rowenta iron. On the first use, I was not able to turn the iron off. I resorted to having to pulling the cord from the wall socket. The on/off/temp control wheel is permanently stuck. I am not able to return the iron because I threw away the box because I trusted the brand. I've owned many Rowenta's over the years. I never had this problem. Very disappointed.

Perfect weight, but poor function.

Cathryn June 28, 2026

I like the weight of this iron, as many of the other Rowenta models are uncomfortably heavy. But with this model, the temp/steam adjustment dial is not easy to visualize, the water tank is clumsy to fill, and water leaks out of the nose of the sole plate.

Used product

Kamubi November 20, 2025

As soon as I removed it from the box and inspected it, I noticed several scratches on the bottom. This clearly indicates that the product is refurbished and not new. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this item. I am requesting a full refund.

Poor product

Imaproff September 13, 2024

If I would have paid $80 for this I would have been more mad. It was on clearance for $40 I can see why. Every time I use the steam white particles comes out of it leaving a mess
