Rubbermaid 5 ft. x 2 ft. Vertical Shed - Small

Assembly is super easy (1 hour, 2 people) and simple (marriage friendly). Second, the only real criticism is warping of the black plastic roof, preventing the white plastic doors from closing properly. My local paint store advised lightly sanding the roof, then applying a high-quality primer for plastic, and then applying two coats of high gloss white paint, all to reflect the sun and prevent heat build-up and warping.

I had read a few of the reviews and wondered if the product would meet expectations. I was positively surprised. Assembly was easy (two people). The parts snapped together perfectly, although drilling pilot holes for the screws is highly recommended. Getting the product from the store to my house was a bit of a problem. The box is quite large. We just barely managed to fit it into our Honda CRV. The shed looks very nice in my yard. I also bought the hook assemblies for the inside - very useful. I will be storing my gardening supplies and tools in the shed.

I purchased this shed because I have had such good luck with Rubbermaid products for the out doors. They last for years and years .....This shed is worth the money ! It did not disappoint me ...easy to assemble looks great and fits my needs perfectly .

Although Walmart's ship to store experience was lacking this time (they didn't tell me it had arrived) this shed was still worth the wait. I already have a full size Rubbermaid shed but needed to free up some room. I needed something tall and this fit the bill. Sadly it is getting more difficult to find Rubbermaid sheds in stores. I can only guess that is because the competition is cheaper. Cheaper is not always better. I tried a similar shet from that Sun company and it was garbage. The instructions were lackluster and it the hinges would not hold. Rubbermaid designs them better and makes them to last. I have a smaller Rubbermaid storage shed that I bought back in the 90's and have broken down and moved halfway across the U.S. and back and it still stands and stores. I fully expect this to hold up for a long time as well. Bottom line: The instructions were easy to follow and the shed was easy to put together. Having a friend to help would be better but it can be done alone as long as you have some weight to put on the roof to hold it down while you screw things in. It's sturdy and I expect it will last a long time.

I LIKE THE SANDY BEIGE COLOR BECAUSE THE SHED BLENDS IN WITH MY LAWN FURNITURE. THE VERTICAL SHED IS LARGE ENOUGH TO STORE ITEMS AND SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT NICELY IN MY LANAI. THE DIRECTIONS WERE EASY TO FOLLOW. THE PRODUCT IS VERY DURABLE AND THE SHED LOOKS NEAT. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY NEW SHED.

Totally worth the extra price for a good quality product! Rubbermaid is the way to go. They make the assembly was smooth as possible, plus it'll last a long time. Here are a few details from my experience: 1. I picked mine up at the store. Box is aprox. 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft x 7 ft. It weighs 200 pounds. Be prepared if you're picking up. It barely fit in my Highlander. 2. I highly recommend having 2 people for assembly. With 2 people, it'll take 2 hours or so to assemble. Instructions are easy and understandable. 3. A drill is needed, otherwise assembly is difficult. There are aprox. 40 places where you drill thick screws into. Make life easier and pre-drill with a 1/8 in bit. It's quick, and you'll be happy you did. 4. Make certain the ground is level (or have dirt on hand to make adjustments). If not, floor is squishy and gives in.

Make sure to use magnetic srewdriver bit when attaching the roofs outside back srews, six of them. The sheving brackets are a joke! They are not flush to the walls and shelves are not securely attcached to the shed. Can only buy the brackets from Rubbermaid for 4 brackets for $5 plus $8 S&H. Regular assembly is easy to do. The parts fit well. I did my assembly in under 90 mins and in 50 degree weather. Lay the parts out first to make sure everything is there. In section 4.0 a and b: don't srew the metal bracket into the shed's frame, just align in position. Srews well be used later in the installation when the doors have been but into place. You will need a second person to push down the roof for the best installation.

Looked at many of these online and at OSH etc. Walmart had a great price and free ship to the store. Shed is much better looking than its competition and went together easily. Seems sturdy and parts fit well. One tip: At the end of the instructions you are directed to place 8 screws thru the top back wall into the roof from the outside of the shed. I placed mine against the house on a side yard. Fortunately I did not have the shed fastened to an elaborate foundation and was able to tip it away from the wall of the house to install the screws. I guess they expect you to assemble it and then move it to a final destination, or not next to a wall.

This was not what I thought it would be. I would at least expect the flooring to be rubber but it was plastic which in time will crack. My wife and I followed the directions precisely however the panels still did not fit right. The directions were not the best. We had to take it apart twice and redo it and yet the panels would not fit in the slots properly. It feels like cheap plastic to me and I don't see how it would be at least water resistant. Too me the price is too high for the cheap quality. There has got to be a better way to make assembling easier!

We cannot build or use this EXTREMELY expensive product. The screws, the roof brace, and the lock hasp that are indicated as included are NOT included. I bought an expensive Rubbermaid product (even though the price is sky high!) because I thought Rubbermaid would be better quality. They do NOT answer their customer service emails and they do NOT answer their customer service phone lines. Unusable product and no way to fix the problems.
