Rubbermaid Deck Box with Seat - X-Large

Sturdy and very easy to assemble! Looks nice setting on my deck. Holds furniture cushions. Fast delivery!! I have purchased several Rubbermaid containers with great satisfaction over the years snd they have held up very well!

I underestimated the shipping box sizes. Had to have my son pick them up with his truck. Very easy to assemble. Just make sure you punch out the little plastic tabs per the instructions. It will make it WAY easier on you. I assembled each one in about 5 minutes once the tabs were removed. I had to punch them out then a couple of them I had to pull out with pliers (needle nose worked best). Then the sides, front and back just snap in place. I did need my husband to hold the lids (I got 2 of these wonderful boxes) in place while I hammered the hinge pins into place and then screwed in the retaining straps (so the lid won't flop over backwards). I have pool chemicals, skimmer baskets and poles, deflated pool toys, tools and a bunch of other stuff in them and STILL have plenty of room. Sure made my back porch look better. As for being a bench, I'd let my grandchildren sit on them but not so sure my husband or I should.

To begin with, I read reviews on this product and thought about not buying it. But I notice the positive reviews far exceeded the negative reviews. And knowing that Rubbermaid makes quality products, I thought I will buy it. Unlike a few negative reviews. Mine went together easily and the panels all locked solidly. The lid sits perfectly and the unit as a whole should easily protect mu patio furniture cushions from inclement weather. Time will tell how good it works, but for now, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

We needed a place to store patio furniture cushions during rainy weather. This deck container is roomy enough for pads from two chairs plus love seat. Easy to assemble. And a nice looking addition to deck or patio. Useful for storing your beach towels and toys for the pool or many other items . The price is right.

I'm an avid birdwatcher and this large Rubbermaid deck box was just what I needed for storing my birdseed. It holds three 5 gallon buckets easily. There's additional room to place my 3 large feeders in it at night to keep the racoons from destroying them. It's heavy duty, easy to assemble, and will definitely keep the critters out. It's also weather resistant and you can put a lock on it if need be. It's exactly what I needed and I couldn't be happier with this purchase! There's many uses for this deck box and I would most definitely recommend it! :)

I loved how quickly this item snaps together yet is sealed tight. Definitely worth the price. Large capacity. I can fit 4 full size chair cushions and pool toys, patio umbrella. To give an idea of size i placed 2 large coolers side by side and the bin is still longer. There's so much room. Very satisfied

It should've been a piece of cake cake to put together, But for someone who is not very handy and has trouble with directions I had to call for help. Mostly pleased, but wish the inside dimensions had been given....they're much smaller than the outside and my cushions don't fit as well as I anticipated. Also I doubt that it is watertight, since the joints just slide into place with no fasteners to hold them snug. On the other hand, it went together very easily.

Sturdy item, however, it snaps together and the corners do not meet correctly. I bought it to put my horse's hay in. Lightweight stuff. I had to take gorilla tape and tape the sides so it would be flush like the photo (it is cheaper looking than the photo) I think it would have worked better if the sides were flush when built and you screwed the entire thing together rather than just snap in the sides. The pieces that hold the lid up are poorly made. With all that said, it was a good price.

The lid does not close properly so you will have leakage. Also the wind can blow the top open unless you lock it. As you can see from my photos the corners do not snap into place. It looks like the side is uneven. The photos I took a week later because at first I could wiggle it to get it to kind of snap into place. Now there is no hope. There is a small plastic grove in the lid to hold it in place, so even if it was perfectly even I do not think it would stay in place very well. I cannot even lock it for the corners to stay down. I am so disappointed. I spent so much time researching this product and thought I had a good pick only to find out I wasted my time and money.
