We have three Australian cattle dogs and are forever sweeping up dog hair around the house. This comes in super handy to sweep up piles of that hair and any dirt that's along with it. I bought one of these over 10 years ago and within the last few months it became a little warped at the mouth of it and it was tough to get all the dirt in the pan. Not sure why it warped but the new one is working fine. We use it several times weekly and consider it an essential in our house.

love this dust pan. I have a hernia and bending over can be painful. This works in the house and in the yard. It is well made. Not a flimsy light plastic that will fall apart or crack easily. Worth every penny.

This is a great Rubbermaid dustpan that is the similar model to the one which comes with an automatically closing dust cover which honestly is an unnecessary feature. This dustpan is very similar to the actual dustpans used by janitors and is branded by the commercial division of Rubbermaid. The locking lugs on the dustpan are beyond what must dustpans feature and this dustpan does not feature the stupid lip that others do that prevent matter from being swept up in fact the end is very flush to the ground though the overall height of the dustpan is taller then many commercial dustpans. The handle locks in tight and the pan actually has little wheels that roll easily and though it may not be a necessity this allows for the device to be easily transported. The fit and finish is quality and will hold up to an honest days work. The product is MADE IN U.S.A. and the part numbers are J91-2531-B1 2 for the handle, J90-2531-A1 for the Dustpan WITHOUT COVER, J90-2531-B1 for the Dustpan WITH COVER. If you want to clean the home without getting tired from picking up the dustpan this what you want. I ordered this item with value shipping and paid cash at my local Walmart and it was at my home in 24 hours.

I keep buying this type of dustpan hoping to get one that will let me sweep up with the edge flat on the floor. I guess I'll have to keep looking. Meanwhile much of the debris will continue to get swept under the dustpan.

They shipped it with a missing piece, no way to connect the handle to the dustpan base. Trying to return it was a major hassle to. Ended up just throwing it in the trash and getting one at Ace Hardware.
